I’ve just watched a few interviews, old and new, from Emilie and I love them and her. I also love how she’s acting and her facial expressions and in interviews she’s so natural and funny. I’m enjoying to see and hear her. Some people mean Emilie was drunk at the paleyfest, but in my opinion she was simply nervous, because she was totally normal during the several interviews.
Although I have seen her already in Roswell and Lost, she has my full attention since Once upon a time. And when I read from fans, who have met her, I become a little bit jealous, because I want to meet her one day too.

March 22, 2013 at 9:36 pm #181702RumplesGirlKeymasterEmilie is great. I first saw her on LOST, loved Claire and Charlie. I watched Roswell on Netflix back over the summer and was surprised to see her. Her accent is so cute. Has anyone seen the movie she did with Robert Pattinson? I heard it was good.

So sad after Charlie dies Clare is simply phased out. We’re at season 5 now. I liked Charlie and Claire. I cried during the episode he made his Top Hits lits and Claire was number one..
March 22, 2013 at 10:00 pm #181704germanpearlParticipantI saw her on Roswell the first time, because of my sister, who has all the DVDs and I’ve watched them with her. I’ve watched Lost not so regular but I was also suprised seeing her again with a baby, which was really cute.Oh yes, I also love her australian accent.
I only saw a few clippings from Remember me and what I saw, was really amazing. It’s a sad movie, especially the end. Both of them doing a great job and harmonize together.

March 22, 2013 at 10:21 pm #181709spinninggoldParticipantSeriously? Drunk during Paleyfest? The nerve of some people… *sigh*
I thought she was lovely, natural, and bubbly. And yes maybe a bit nervous, but who wouldn’t be with such a crowd hanging on your every word ( and then when you say the word ‘lost’ they all start laughing at you, they were making it hard for her, lol ) But she was wonderful. And from what I heard, even better afterwards, taking time for the fans.
I’ve been following her on twitter and I can’t get over what a nice and caring person she is. I like Belle, but I really love EmilieMarch 22, 2013 at 10:26 pm #181711angiebelleParticipantI had never heard of her before “Skin Deep” aired- I never watched Lost. However, I definitely adore her now- especially when I hear about how nice she is to her fans. Often times it is an actor’s kindness that makes me a fan more so than his or her talent. I hope I get to meet her some day. Of course, anyone who has the opportunity to portray Belle automatically becomes my hero. She was adorable at Paleyfest. Some people thought she was drunk?! That’s crazy! Being a little loopy silly doesn’t equal drunk…I get that way all the time, and I’ve never been drunk in my life.
March 22, 2013 at 11:09 pm #181723germanpearlParticipantYeah, there are no words for some people…I’ve watched the livestream of Paleyfest and I don’t know what Emilie said, but when she has answered a question, a few people wrote in the chat “drunk” and all that stuff. I can’t understand it…At this moment I would also giggle the whole time and my cheeks would be red (like if I drunk red wine before) because I would be so nervous. And I guess, another reason for her behavior was just happiness and a good mood.
I totally agree with you, SpinningGold and AngieBelle.
I also find an actor or actress more sympathetic when she/he is kindly to fans. When they take their time for the fans, after a festival or something, it is very special and not a given.
At “Starlight Express” there is one actress and I have seen her the first times only at stage door. We’ve talked together a few times and I like her more as a person than on stage.
The same would happen with Emilie. So, I would really like to talk with her, even if it were just two sentences. If I had the money, I would fly to Steveston. 😀I follow her also on twitter and although she doesn’t answer to questions from the fans, I’m enjoying her tweets and when she’s livetweeting.

March 22, 2013 at 11:35 pm #181730angiebelleParticipantI was actually at Paleyfest and got to see them all in person! Sadly, I was unable to get up to the stage to say hello due to all the fans trying to get autographs. In hind sight, we may have had better luck trying the stage door.
I would be very nervous being on a panel like that myself! I can only imagine the comments I’d have gotten in their shoes. I’d probably be extremely giggly too.
I follow her on Twitter too- I love watching the interactions among the cast. They all seem like such a fun group that I’d give anything for the chance to hang out and be included. Emilie cracks me up.
It’s funny- growing up, the actors I looked up to were all much older than me, but now that is no longer the case. Most of the OuaT actors are my peers. Emilie and I are only 2 months apart. I wish we could be friends and not just actor and fan. I want to get to know them as real people and not enigmas.
I recently sent a letter to the cast fanmail address. It turned out pretty long and was addressed to everyone. Rather than gushing, I used a very conversational tone, telling them all the things I had wanted to say had we had the chance to just sit and chat a while. I told Emilie that I recently adopted a cat named Emily. I told Robert that I’m doing Brigadoon and learning Scottish dancing and Scottish accents. I told Ginnifer I grew up in Memphis too. I told them all about the OuaT party I put on for my birthday last year. I told them that Ouat has inspired me to take acting classes again. I am trying not to get my hopes up for a response, but I hope at the very least I get acknowledgement that the letter was received and read.
I want to plan a trip to Steveson too! Someday….
March 23, 2013 at 12:36 pm #181759germanpearlParticipantYay, the interactions among the whole cast is amazing on twitter. They all understand eachother very well and this has a really positive effect on the work in front of the camera. I hope Emilie and Robert would be livetweeting during 2×19…but it’s still so long to go… *sigh* And I also hope, that they’re doing an audio commentary at the second DVD.
I think, your letter has arrived definitely. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you’ll get a response to your letter.
I can remember, that Lana answered me last year, when I asked her on twitter. That was really cool. 🙂You live in the USA, right? I think it’s cheaper to fly from the U.S. to Vancouver. The whole trip from Germany would cost me my whole month’s salary. But I’ll save more money and maybe it will work already this year in the fall.

March 23, 2013 at 3:01 pm #181774angiebelleParticipantYes, I live in CA…it’s about a 4 hour flight from here I think. It’s do able, I just don’t know when. We have other travel plans for this year. I wish I could watch the actors at work- maybe I’d learn something! Acting is not easy…I did my first scene for my film acting class the other day and didn’t feel that good about it at all. Of course, my background is stage acting, not film acting. I would love to get an acting lesson from someone like Robert or Emilie. 🙂
