She has no idea who Belle is. Mr. Gold needs me to fall in love with him, though, so he can figure out a way to get me back. If I fall in love with him, true love’s kiss or whatever magic he’s thinking up will be the way to get Belle back.
Doesn’t sound like she’ll be re-Belle-ified immediately. Maybe not even by season’s end. Which I’m OK with, because I think it will be fascinating to see Rumple having to start from scratch to win her heart, especially if Lacey is actually attracted to Rumple’s darkness, though Rumple ultimately wants to end up with her because she makes him a better man. That’s too complicated to fully explore and wrap up in just an ep or two.

A real talesman is a “memorable detail” linked to a person’s true FTL identity; hence Belle’s true talesman is her cup and David’s is the unicorn mobile that hung in Emma’s nursery. Yet, it seems like a fake talesman could be anything really. The windmill seemed like a random item that had supposedly been in Kathryn Nolan’s front yard (though it was really just in Mr. Gold’s pawn shop for 28 years), and when David it touched it, he suddenly “remembered” it as being his own lawn ornament. The one significant thing about the fake talesman is the word windmill could be linked to Regina Mills’ dark curse.
that’s a fantastic explanation, Slurpeez. Thanks. 🙂
So Regina show up at the hospital with some object and makes Belle into Lacey. Then how did Regina know that Belle was close to surfacing, because many interviews have said that Rumple was almost there but then Regina steps in.that would make sense! Phew, I’m relieved that the ‘regina stepping in’ will be near the beginning of the episode, and that she won’t ruin things later when Rumple has gotten through to Lacey.. 😛

While that does sound interesting, I can see casual viewers becoming fed up quite quickly that the amnesia plot is taking another turn and is still somewhat unresolved. I wouldn’t be totally in love with it either, I won’t lie. It needs to reach conclusion by seasons end so they can continue to explore Rumple road to redemption. Plus, Snowing angst ended in S1 and now they’re together and trying for a happily ever after and if S3 is CaptainSwanFire angst (as I predict) then I don’t want more Rumbelle angst on top of it. And if Lacey is going with them all to NL then she has to be Belle by that point because why on earth would Lacey, who thinks she is a normal girl, agree to get on a pirate ship that's going to disappear down vortex?? And I have a VERY hard time believing that Rumple will leave her behind (not to mention leaving EdR behind isn't likely since the core is going to NL)
If I have to wait until season’s end, ok. But let’s not drag it out too far.

I would have to agree, and this is not just cause of my personal want of them to be together. It wouldn’t be good for the show to continue this, as a lot of people now are impatient and would be not happy if it went longer than it had to. I also would have to agree with Phee though, I don’t think that they will resolve it in an episode, they will need some time to make things work out. And while people want it to be resolved, they want it resolved nicely and not like boom they’re all right now.

April 17, 2013 at 8:31 pm #186778HappyEndingsSpectatorI am tired already with Belle and Rumble they have been hogging the spot light for some time now. Gold beats up Keith, then Whale over Belle and this memory lost thing has ran it’s course what about Sneezy everyone forgot about him. We need to move the story line on.
April 17, 2013 at 8:34 pm #186779rumbelledearieParticipantUgh this is stressing me out. So I guess he’s all nice and sweet with her until she catches him beating someone up like in the promo and she says he really is as bad as people say. Then he realizes that the only way to get Lacey to fall in love with him is to be bad?
I guess no Rumbelle reunion this Sunday 😥April 17, 2013 at 8:36 pm #186780PheeParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:

The way I see it though, this struggle he’s going to go through in regards to Lacey is actually a huge step along his road to redemption. It’s gonna challenge his ideas of the type of man he wants to be, and what actions he’s going to take, and if he’s gonna have the balls to walk the tough path instead of taking the easy option of just being the bad boy that Lacey likes. By the time Lacey falls for him, and becomes Belle again, he’ll have had to make some major progression towards redemption. And his overall progression will be drawn out for a long time yet, so having it take a while for him to work through this part of it would be fine with me.
In later eps we know she's at the shop, and it appears that they're back together, and she's wearing her hair differently. These can be signs that they're working on it. She's willing to give him a chance, and they start dating. Maybe he says that he always thought she was really pretty with her hair down, so she changes the style back to that because she's making an effort to give Rumple and the relationship a genuine try and see where it leads. That doesn't necessarily mean she's fallen back in love with him yet though, and until Lacey actually falls in love with him, he's not getting Belle back.

While I agree that the memory loss thing has run its course I disagree that Rumbelle have been hogging the spotlight. They haven’t even been in the same room together since episode 12. The focus lately has been all about Emma/Neal/Rumple/Henry and Snow going dark.
April 17, 2013 at 8:39 pm #186782RumplesGirlKeymasterI don’t know if they’ve hogging the spotlight 😆 Belle hasn’t received any attention since The Miller’s Daughter and even then it was just the phone call (cue my sobs). The focus has definitely been elsewhere. But the memory loss occurred at the end of 11, and so I do think it need to be wrapped up by S2 at the latest. If it doesn’t come until 22, then ok. I’ll wait but stretching it beyond S2 is a bit much.

I guess no Rumbelle reunion this Sunday 😥Not necessarily. I think he’s going to choose to be good over being bad, even if that means loosing Lacey and that in turn will strike a chord with her and they’ll try together. But I’m just hoping she’s Belle sooner rather than later.

Have to agree with Rumbelledearie…they haven’t had the spotlight, otherwise I might be happier 😉
