I agree, amnesia stories annoy me lol. Which is why I want this resolved soon because it’s too much like a soap opera.
I saw that she said Lacey doesn’t want to leave town. If she’s still Lacey by the finale that would be a problem lol, sinceit looks like they're all hightailing it outta there.

I recall Robert Carlyle divulged in an interview at Paley Fest that the Rumbelle seperation would be resolved by the finale, but not necessarily in a way one might expect. This leads me to believe that rather than Belle being just Belle by season’s end, she’ll be an amalgamation between Lacey and Belle. Perhaps Lacey's tendency to be a home-body will conflict Belle's sense of adventure and with everyone else's desire to leave SB on Hook ship's in 2×22.
hmm..seems interesting. And it could be, who knows? 😉 but for me personally…I think he means that it will happen in a way we don’t excpect, but it will happen, as we will get Belle back all the way. Rumbelle has been through so much..it deserves this, haha. As to what this way is, I don’t know.
One idea though is that, as RG said earlier, that he will in the end say no to Lacey and choose to be good. That is something not many maybe possibly peeps would expect, as he is rejecting ‘belle’, the one who he has been trying to save and get back, for the sake of doing what Belle would have wanted him to do. That could draw Lacey/belle to him, and I can say that I really like that theory.

I will maintain hope that it happens sooner rather than later.

Hm, I like that theory as well. You know, as long as it leads her memories returning lol. Kinda like Charming brought Snow back in Heart of Darkness – he was heroic and brave and that’s what she loves about him. Rumple being willing to walk away and be good because that’s what Belle wants in him might do the trick? Maybe?
April 17, 2013 at 9:08 pm #186802RumplesGirlKeymasterAngsty Dark Snow was resolved in one episode, so it could happen here too!!
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 17, 2013 at 9:15 pm #186804SlurpeezParticipantI think we might need to brace ourselves for the real possibility that Belle/Lacey might not want to leave SB by the end of the season:
Emilie de Ravin: …and you know, we don’t know if the town’s existence might be in danger and how that will affect everything. And then there’ll be people deciding if they’re gonna move home to fairytale land.
Will there be an opportunity for them to make that choice?
I can’t tell you that! [Laughs.] But at least for Lacey, she’s not involved, she doesn’t care. She’s doing her own thing, and Gold’s trying to get her to love him. http://www.hypable.com/2013/04/17/once-upon-a-time-lacey-emilie-de-ravin-interview/It all sort of depends whether Mr. Gold can get her to love him and possibly to remember she’s Belle all by 2×22. It’s a race against time.

April 17, 2013 at 9:24 pm #186805laurieanneParticipantThat puts a new sense of urgency to it for Rumple – he knows they are leaving and he doesn’t want to leave Bae but he also doesn’t want to leave Belle behind.
April 17, 2013 at 9:24 pm #186806RumplesGirlKeymasterFrom a logical standpoint, they can’t expect EdR to be separated from the entire cast for an entire season. Belle, while a perfectly acceptable as a character, is really tied into Rumple’s story and what she does for him. Separating the two of them (after half a season apart and really, all of S1 apart, waiting to see if she was going to come back) would be a REALLY TERRIBLE IDEA. Which now makes me wonder if the memory return will be done in the final moments of 22 before they all get on the Jolly Roger and leave for NL but that seems really hasty and also really unfair to the Rumbellers who want an epic reunion. So, it has to come before the end of 22 and maybe at the end of 21.
Oh God. You mean I have 3 more weeks until I get my Rumbelle back?? Ok, I’ll be over in this corner eating my hair."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
