I just read this spoiler which includes something about Emma not appearing here in this episode interesting….
[adrotate group="5"]October 3, 2012 at 6:23 am #155235surayyaParticipanthmmm, yes that is right- I remember reading something along those lines somewhere…. I’m confused now, isn’t she holding a knife to Hook’s throat in one of the promos???
So maybe it wasn’t Emma, maybe it was Red, or maybe it was a later ep??? 😕October 3, 2012 at 11:16 am #155253hjbauParticipantIt was so Emma holding the knife to the guys throat. Maybe that isn’t hook or it is in a later episode. I can’t believe they are having an episode with no Emma and Snow. That is really annoying. It makes me completely question where they are going with the show in every way.
October 3, 2012 at 11:25 am #155255SlurpeezParticipantColin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook) is also going to appear in episode 2×5, so Emma could share some screen time with him in FTL in the episode after this one.

October 4, 2012 at 6:44 am #155394surayyaParticipanthjbau – I’m not looking forward to a no Emma & Snow show either- Emma/Snow/Charming/Henry are what I really want to see most of- esp Emma & Snow atm 😉
slurpeez – I think that is most likely going to be the case, but doesn’t Hook have a SB counterpart??? (I’m pretty sure someone said he did anyway)- oh boy now I’m confused, maybe I’ll just think he doesn’t have a SB counterpart until I find something official that states he does- all the different episode’s spoilers are merging together in my head 😕 .

I thought that eventually Emma would go to fairytale land, but i did not think it would happen so soon.
October 4, 2012 at 7:58 am #155405SlurpeezParticipant@ Surayya: I don’t think Captain Hook has a fairy-tale counterpart, because I think he’s been in the surviving remanent of FTL this whole time (or Neverland as it may be). There’s a brief glimpse of a blonde woman threatening Hook with a knife to his throat in the promo for S2; a lot of people are speculating that it’s Emma who’s making the threat, because of the long blonde hair and read leather jacket sleeve. If Emma and Snow come across Captain Hook, and he likes her from the start, I have a feeling he might follow Emma home back to SB once they find a portal. Perhaps Hook even offers them passage home on his ship (assuming there’s fairy dust to make it fly). Ok so that may be wishful thinking, but admittedly, I’m already on the Emma-Hook ship. 🙂

Right that makes way more sense (having no counterpart & meeting in FTL).
I’ll say right now, I’m sooo on board with the Emma-Hook ship lol 😉October 13, 2012 at 10:52 pm #156575elleParticipantAs much as it sucks for Emma to not be in the episode, it is going to be that way now that everyone remembers. With all the characters now remembering who they are and where they are from, all of them will be having to get some screen time. All of them are going to be important in the show, so some will have more time than others. 🙂
With Emma holding the knife to Hook’s throat, I’m gonna assume that it will happen in another episode–that promo didn’t really seem to be for a specific episode.

Now that everyone remembers who they are, all of these characters are going to get more screen time than they ever did in season 1. The curse being broken opened up a whole new world of storytelling, and has made it a true ensemble show.
I don’t think we’ll ever go back to ow the show was structured in season one, and I for one hope we never do. I’m more than happy with Regina, Rumpelstiltskin, Red, Charming, Belle, and Hook getting plenty of screen time. Shoehorning in Emma and Snow White into stories that don’t really need them would just make them seem out of place.
