For all general discussion on the romantic pairing of Emma and Graham. Enjoy! 😀

They did have a spark when they first meant and true love’s first kiss can break anything. Although, true love may not exist in our world so she may love again. It would be quite sad if Emma never gets to really have the same feelings she had for Graham once more with another man.

May 7, 2012 at 4:58 pm #145821obisgirlParticipantI’m probably going to get some angry 👿 responses but I don’t think Graham was Emma’s true love. They had a connection because he spared Snow White’s life when he was meant to kill her. I think that’s why Graham remembered his fairytale life.

I think they had more friendship and a connection about the curse, but I don’t think she was really in love with him or he with her. He was cursed and confused and she was there. I actually can’t see Emma being in love with anyone at this point in her life. She has some things she has to work out, like Henry and saving the world type stuff, plus all the baggage she brings from her relationship with Henry’s father and her time in the foster care system. She’s the one who should be having sessions on Archie’s couch. So right now I don’t ship her with anyone.

I mean they had only known each other a few weeks and only that day kissed and i don’t think they were in love. They were still getting to know each other. I am glad that Emma hasn’t had romance this season. Maybe later on.

As it was pointed out in the movie, Enchanted, I think that’s generally how true love works in fairytales. In Disney movies anyway, it’s never this drawn out, long courtship. It’s love at first sight. They fall in love, the prince puts a ring on it and they get married. Story done.
May 28, 2012 at 4:52 pm #147961hjbauParticipantWell that is true in a movie that is an hour and a half, but in a television show they can do more with it and hopefully they will. With Emma’s real love interest that is because Graham is dead.
May 28, 2012 at 6:31 pm #147969schmackyParticipantWell, how fairytale true love works or not and Fairytale herself or not, Emma grew up in a reality where there isn’t necessarily true love and if anyone’s noticed… she’s a bit of a skeptic. So I don’t think she would have that love-at-first-sight true love.

im a hardcore Emma/Graham shipper (if the signature and icon didn’t give it away!) but I’m not sure if they were each others ‘true love’ they did have that special bond because he saved her parents lives so I really think that if he hadnt have died (producers; y u break my shipper heart?) that they really could have had something, especially because he was the first person Emma let in in so long, so I’m sad he’s gone, especially cause he was so awesome! I do wonder if I’ll ever be able to ship Emma with anyone else now though… (other than semi-shipping her with August :P) -
