Her baby blanket was in SB, and as far as we know, anything that was in SB is now gone, so unless the Curse relocated it, she can’t have it with her in NYC.
I saw a comment somewhere that maybe the Book will have survived and turn up again, and will be Henry’s talisman, though, and if the Book got away, maybe other things did too? We saw nothing to indicated that that’s how it worked though. I think only the things they had with/on them as they drove away, would they still have in NYC.

We discussed this earlier in chat today but the smoke goes around the book, doesn’t it? As if it might still be in the forest of Maine.

You can’t see the town from that town line. Must have been quite a walk for the others. Maybe Emma & Henry had a few minutes to grab some clothes and stuff to take with them, plus fill the car with gas & find the rest of SB cast, since they didn’t know they would be losing their memories till Regina mentioned it later. Not sure why Henry didn’t go to Regina’s and grab his book then though. Emma & Regina knew it was there.

It is possible she has her baby blanket and other items in a box in her car. Regina could have cast a spell to instantly summon objects for Henry and Emma, along with the car as they all ran to the town line. How’d they even get to the town line spot if the curse was from all sides from the well? There was only one car in the scene, and it’s implied to be a fair distance from Town every time we’ve seen someone go down the danger road in S1.
So I’m just going to imagine Regina used almost everything she had in a series of spells to get Henry and Emma set up for a new life, not caring about what would happen to her afterwards very much.
I think the baby blanket is one that would make a lot of sense. The question for me is, the BF potion needed to be consumed out of the talisman they said –so Sneezy drank from his stein and Belle from her cup.
I cannot think of a container like thing for Emma. I suppose it’s a different spell so convenient potion is conveniently different.

Or is it different spell so sneaky potion is sneakily different????
Lol. No it’s totally convenient plot device
Yeah she doesn’t have a drinking vessel that I can think of. Unless they somehow make a drinking glass from Granny’s be highly significant to Emma…?
So you’re right. Most likely this will be magic hand waving and convenient plot device #….(I have no idea. What number are we on now?)
Any potion that may come into play has to work in tandem with a talisman but since Emma doesn’t have one from which to drink, it will probably be “drink this potion and then stare into this object” and POOF. Memories restored.
Same with Henry. And I assume the book will be his. I like the baby blanket idea with Emma.

I like the idea of the Book magically appearing again, but this time in Henry’s closet instead. Only problem is, this NewCurse was meant to be an endgame sorta deal, not a Curse that was meant to be broken, so I dunno that the magically appearing Book would be a part of this Curse like it was the first time. If only we’d had Blue in the background of that scene in the street, scurrying off like she had some final preparations to take care of.
December 23, 2013 at 11:49 am #233428kfchimeraParticipantShe does not even need to be in the scene, just name dropped as an explanation.
I think if we ever see Blue back story her name should be Deus Ex Machina not Rheul Ghorem.

i have just been watching s3e11 of ouat and I realised that in s3e2 Pan tells Emma that when all of this is over, she won’t just feel like an orphan, she’ll be one. In s3e11 thanks to the curse that Pan re-casts Emma ends up forgetting about her parents and the last two years of her life. And in the last scene of that episode Emma says that Henry is her only family. she does not feel like an orphan, she is an orphan again. Just like Pan had predicted.
That’s what I call a foreshadowing WIN.

Wow yeah. And in that same episode, we see PP in Henry’s clothes. Another foreshadow for the end of 309 and body swap.
