Anyway….I agree with what some other people are saying. If Neal isn’t Bae, then the writers have managed to create a huge red herring. That being said, I am 99.9% sure that Neal IS Bae and am just waiting for the big reveal. 🙂
I wouldn’t be surprised if he was Bae at all… and I wouldn’t mind if he was… however, not all evidence points to Neal being Bae – that is just the interpretation of much evidence by fans. Lots of evidence points to Neal being from Wonderland as well (which could be so even if he is Bae).
I hope they reveal soon.
[adrotate group="5"]I wouldn’t worry about Mr. Gold manipulating Emma too much. The scene in The Cricket Games where he helps her with the dreamcatcher felt more like a deus ex machina situation rather than anything we should be concerned about. I think the main thing Mr. Gold will use Emma for is getting out of Storybrooke. And since I’m almost certain Neal will turn out to be Baelfire, I don’t think Rumpel would purposely harm the woman Nealfire loves.

One of the things that has be doubting the whole Nealfire thing is… Someone sent Neal a postcard… so why isn’t HE coming to SB? Why is Gold leaving to go find him?
I know Gold doesn’t KNOW someone sent Neal a postcard but… that part seems weird and like it might come into play. i.e. Emma refuses to go with Gold, or they don't make it out before Neal comes in or something?I want to know what happened to August!

Rumpel will leave Storybrooke to go looking for Baelfire, while at the same time, Neal leaves New York to visit Storybrooke. Could be. Assuming Emma and Henry go with Gold (I don't think Emma will leave Henry for that long with Regina on her rampage), that is keeping them from SB for a long time though. But I can picture that…

I think this is a big possibility. I was surprised to learn that this episode was so soon after the break and before the summer hiatus. They go to find Nealfire but we haven’t even dealt with Cora yet and her reign of terror and her plans for Regina. I always assumed that the search for Neal/Bae would come toward the very end of the season because the biggest story right now for season two is Cora. That being said, I hope it’s not all of season two post this episode that deals with finding Neal. I really want Emma/Gold back in SB to fight Cora when the inevitable showdown happens.

Since Emma and Gold are two of the major sources of magic there (I know we’ve got Blue, but she was pretty useless last episode, and Regina… could take either side)…
But in the one sneak, Gold is with BELLE, not Emma, and he is testing out his potion thingy to go across the town line… and then Hook shows up (with a GUN, what the heck?)… so I think once they know Hook is in SB, it is majorly implied that Cora is there too, and I highly doubt Emma will leave for very long, if at all, once they is public knowledge. Maybe the scene where Rumpel is asking Emma to go with him isn't for a few episodes? I'd have to go back and see if any of the outfits are the same as in these sneaks…
Well, we know that by the 'Manhattan' episode, Rumple and Emma are off on their quest so the scene cannot be postponed for too long. I reckon Gold not only asked for a favor but also blackmailed them – he's the one who knows most about magic and Cora so he is crucial in protecting SB, especially that Regina's stand is uncertain. He could've offered another deal – if Emma doesn't come with him, he will leave anyway and for good, find his son and not ever come back. However, if Emma does agree to come, she will make sure they find his son as soon as possible and then they will ALL come back to SB to deal with the problems.
