It’s definitely my most SF-y, though the Emma and Gold chapter of my Law of the Sea story is pretty SF-heavy, too.
I don’t know if it’s an official app, but it allows me to pull any story from FF.net to read offline whenever I want (I spend a lot of time on the subway/public transit, to it’s nice to have nerdy reading without the internet). I just always forget to leave people reviews with it. >_< I really liked your writing style in The Game, though I probably read it first *because* it was the most SF-y. I will download that other one next and put it on my list!

I finally saw the Wonderland finale, so wanted to stop by to say hello for all the feels of it. WL started slow but ended with the kind of “fairy tale” wonder that I at one point hoped to see out of OUAT.
Also, I claim cookies for being one of the few to call what Jafar was after–the chance to make the Sultan feel what it is like to be killed by someone you love. Finally a villain done right, no sand-blasting away of the faults for redemption stories just because the villain is hot and likeable on some level. Speaking of that, Red Queen, the moment she fully won me over is when she wanted to save WL, even thinking it wasn’t going to win back Will’s love. She wanted to do it because it was the right thing to do.
That brings me to OUAT, where I feel “doing the right thing” is being dismissed as something as foolish as any other absolute belief, like Liam in his King, Felix in Pan or GOAT in their home office. It’s the only way I can explain what they did with Neal ‘s sacrifice line–all that matters in this story, I think, is that people do what they do, wrong or right for love, and it is perhaps the unintended result of trying to make antagonists into protagonists.

I’ve also been wondering why AE & Co would spend creative energy to create such a rich character as Baelfire, have him travel from one world to another, and not take advantage of the unlimited stories available to the OUAT writers of Baelfire’s adventures. BTW I like typing BAELFIRE!
That is why I feel so strongly…IMO… that the OUAT writers had to change direction and made the decision, for future storytelling, to focus on Baelfire. He is the reason for the curse as RG rightly reminds us.
Baelfire adopted the name “Neal Cassiday” to fit in the PDW. The writers could only go so far to evoke the depth of this character, known as ” Neal” to Emma.
Such a wealth of stories could fit beautifully into the OUAT fairytale of romance and timeless legends. After all, the writers have introduced their take on Robin Hood, Oz, Camelot to name a few.
If Rumple’s character was merged as the Beast from “Beauty and the Beast” and as the Crocodile, perhaps the OUAT writers now are able to explore Baelfire’s adventures and incorporate his character with other fairytale personalties. Just an hypothesis.
May I also comment again how the OUAT writers are trying to steer the interactions between Emma and Hook. IMO, it’s a deflection nothing more, and to milk the adoration of the ‘tween thinking mentality of some of the fans, who watch commercials.
I too think Emma and Hook would make great friends.
Swanfire will be revived, rekindled, restored, I just know it :o)
