Snow’s discussion about encouraging Emma to have hope (about Neal being alive) and that she deserves her happy ending….*FEELS*
There were so many epic SF moments tonight! Not only does MamaSnow think that her daughter deserves a happy ending, but Snow also wants Emma to hold onto hope that Neal is alive, which he is! Emma was pretty clear that her kiss with Hook was “just a kiss” and her secret that she’s never stopped loving him and that she probably always will, but right now, she can’t let go of the pain that he put her through. She’s normal to still feel hurt after Neal left her, but I think it’s also confounded by the fact that they’re still in NL. I know Hook has admitted he was hoping to start over with Emma, but Emma said she probably will always love Neal. And Neal’s secret is that he’ll never stop fighting for her! *SF feels*

SO why does Emma apologize to Neal tho? Because she didn’t want to believe that he was alive? Because it would have been easier to get over him if he was dead?

I think she apologized because she recognizes that what she said (that she didn’t want him to be alive) was hurtful BUT she doesn’t want him to be dead. She doesn’t want to deal with all her feelings. And he’s OKAY with that. He knows that they have massive stuff to work through. But he WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR HER.

Count me as another who’s pretty much maxed out on the feelings tonight (pardon my explosion of random letters, LOL) and I’m not gonna lie….I was in tears when Emma was talking to Neal. Talk about a heartbreaking scene but DANG, when that cage broke open Neal and Emma’s hug made the tears worse. What an amazing scene. She’s scared and not at all over him, he’s anxious/scared and not over her, and finally, they’re gonna get to a place where they can hash everything out together. Jen and MRJ said SO MUCH with their eyes tonight and I think that’s what made me cry! AAAAUUUUGH. That was better than anything I could have hoped for as a SwanFire fan! *runs off to get a cookie or twelve* 😀
BTW-I did actually feel a little bad for Hook because of the awesomeness between Emma & Neal but I’m very glad he did the right thing and told someone that Neal was alive. I was a little bummed that he didn’t tell Emma directly but I understand why he wanted to tell her parents first just in case Pan was pulling a fast one on them.
