I love you too, RG and all ouat’ers… that’s why I have SUCH a hard time quitting the forums even though I cannot bring myself to watch a single episode. not even the last one of WL… I know I’m crazy…
but Neal symbolizes everything in this world that is worth fighting for… that delicate flower of innocence… so easily crushed… when Rumple was that fragile innocent boy he was crushed, so when his own little symbol of all that’s GOOD in this world was threatened, he embraced evil, just to protect it, to protect HIM, Baelfire… that little teeny flame of innocence so easily stepped on and killed… he couldn’t let that happen. he had to protect that little flame with everything he had…
this teeny tiny easily breakable flower of GOOD is what wars are fought over. this is what drives people to kill and die for… to protect that innocence, to protect GOOD from evil…
this is why I love Gold so much, he WON’T let good lose, no matter what… even if he will have to use evil to defeat it…

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I don’t think the writers realize how inspiring Neal was for a lot of viewers especially the young ones. I heard from a few friends that the youth stop watching after Neal’s death. Keep in mind they the youth love Bae and in turn love Neal. And his story probably told a lot of bullied and lonely youth that in the end life will get better, they will get a happy ending. Then Neal died.
Some youth saw Hook as a bully, who picked and prey on those weaker. So basically to them who see it that way, the bully wins, because they are popular, hotter, cooler with the right amount of swag and charm. And who wants to see that in fantasy when it happening in real life.
I can tell you I think would’ve been far broken as child then I am now about Neal’s death. I know what its like to feel lost, lonely, abandon, and worthless. I know what its like to be abused and bullied. So to see such a good hearted character like Bae dying in a show about happy endings as a child. I would be crushed, wondering is there no hope for someone like me in life. Does being bad, hot, cool, and pretty really means you win out in the world. All the things I couldn’t be as a child. So I can fully understand why some youth can be totally put off by the show. Who needs those kind of reminders.

I found a line that MRJ said some time ago, and i think may explain many things:

We can all agree that OUAT has became crap at the story line, doesnt have sense, the episodes dont link, characters OC, maybe was ABC pressure, maybe was A/E not knowing what to do with neal, maybe was actor request, or maybe was the 3 things.
The reason why i dont have hope is because of that MRJ line, he is to good of actor to go back to OUAT. and ABC and A/E also dont want him back, and i do think that they will show soon CS was a sceond chance, yeah i used this words for emma to find true love after having lost her 1st. But i have to say that is bc of this i keep coming back, you are great persons and some of you have hope, and that is beautiful and amazing.

Neal’s funeral was YESTERDAY according to the ouat timeline but Emma’s is done living in the past?!? Hook is a hero? I’m so done. It was all for CS fans. Neal died for this?? I’m so MAD. I’ve just left the denial stage and I’m on to anger. I just…..have no words.
*Beep* almighty. I didn’t watch it the episode live, but I read the spoilers and saw the GIFs on tumblr. Seriously??? What I read sounded like the biggest CS fanfic episode ever
Christ, A&E aren’t even trying anymore are they? Did someone put a gun to their head and said “You must go the CS route or else!” I can’t believe they would sanction this…magical plot devices galore…

It was awful. Emma went from strong, independent and cynical to hook fan girl. Disgusting.
