Yes, if anything, so far it’s how wrong Hook is for Emma. He’s not a good role model for her kid. He does and says things that at best,annoy and irk Emma. He’s been labeled as “cannon fodder” (i.e. expendable) and then proven how useless he is. He’s only served as a liability to Emma. The only purpose he has played is as Emma’s goofy sidekick who winds up putting the heroine in jeopardy by getting her magic stolen! Again, if Hook and Emma had True Love, it would’ve broken his curse. The curse didn’t break and in fact drained Emma of her TL magic. Emma said she didn’t want to kiss him and then cursed “son of a b!tch” when Zelena left her with no other option. Emma is a descent human who wasn’t going to let a fellow man die. She really had no other resource but to give up her magic knowing full well Hook’s luscious lips had been cursed. It’s been demonstrated and said Emma doesn’t love the guy. She doesn’t see a future with him. The sooner Hook realizes it, the better off he’ll be.
And yes, we SFers dig below the surface for clues just like the other side does as well, but if you look at the surface of SF, what was presented to the GA, it was multiple professions of love and them laughing together as they walked through the woods after having finally been reunited, (meanwhile, Hook says he’s never seen her smile, that’s a contrast that even some of the GA should be able to pick up on if they recall just a few episodes back).
Emma and Neal work well together. They’re a natural team. The best thieves never work alone is what Will told Alice. Emma and Neal were the Bonnie and Clyde of the thieving world. They had every potential to rock as a non-thieving couple too. They were awesome teaming up together with Regina to save Henry while Hook mostly took a back seat to guard lost boys.
On the most basic level, what the show has shown us is that she loves Neal, and being around him, and she is continually showing disinterest in Hook.
Emma would light up whenever she was with Neal. She smiled from ear to ear around him when last they met. He was her person. The last time they were together she remarked how good it was to see him. They laughed about the fact they’d both dated evil minions of Peter Pan and Zelena. There was just an unforced ease. They loved one another and they loved their son. It WORKED on so many levels.
I really don’t believe that the writers are headed for a CS relationship, judging by what they’ve shown us thus far.
I agree that so far, they haven’t made a convincing case for CS. Maybe that will change in the next 2 episode, but the only way that will happen is if the writers literally rewrite history.

Decided to go through and read the 1939 WoO script. I know “our” Oz is based off of the books, but I was just curious.
I had forgotten that the witch catches the Scarecrow on fire. Guessing that means Rumple is the one who is burned at the stake. I suppose that makes sense, him being burned by *fire*… plus the part where he’s immortal and can’t really be harmed by it, lol.
Anyways, there’s some other interesting bits in here. If we are making Dorothy 2.0, does that make Hook Toto? He *has* been following her around like a pathetic puppy dog…
In the final scene, the Wizard notes, “From the rock-bound coasts of Maine, to the sun…” Just an interesting thing to pull out, no real meaning I don’t suppose.
HA, the Wizard is from the Miracle Wonderland Carnival Company. Perhaps he can bring us MO322 😉
One thing that’s interesting & consistent between BTTW & WoO is that to the characters who travel, it has been “days and days.” But to the rest, it has been little to no time at all. Wonder if that’s how it will go next week, too?

Comfae, the Shatner everyone is referring to is William Shatner, as in, Captain Kirk (or the Priceline guy, lol.) He is a big fan of Once, and regularly tweets Adam about it. He has become the celebrity guest host of the Conspiracy Train, because his tweets about the show have included calling CS “creepy,” calling A&E out on some plot holes, and predicting Neal will return in 322 to save the day. Because A&E are giant nerds (and I say that in the kindest way possible,) we are hoping that if fans pointing this junk out doesn’t wake them up, perhaps James T Kirk can do just that. 🙂

Ok, we all know we can came up with some crazy ideas, that dont pass for anyone head, well maybe A/E so i hope they dont come to this thread ever, but i must say that online( tumblr) there are even worst preditions than ours.

But remember Rainbow, the “Emma is pregnant by Hook” theory makes sense! It was part of Zelena’s curse! Emma’s moment of magical CPR also impregnated her, and it’s actually the demon spawn parasite she’s carrying that’s sucking up all her powers! It makes sooooo much sense!/sarcasm

Can I make a request? Can we be careful not to stoop to bashing of other fan groups here in the thread? We have enough crazy for the whole forum, and while I don’t doubt we’re being talked about elsewhere (and I really don’t care… I own my insanity ;)) I just hate to see us sink to that level. Not saying that’s what you did Rainbow, just that it feels to me to be dangerously close to the edge, and I know how quickly things move around here.
Day off today. Agenda: reply to yesterday’s posts. Write 3×20 post. Clean out fridge. Watch back to the future. Write fanfic. I need this hiatus so badly… something tells me I would be more productive on my days off!!

I am waiting for you guys to tell me hoe Neal comes back. If its a good return, if it makes all that pain of 3B worth it, than I will watch all the episodes. To be honest, I am really excited about that. Can’t wait to read that his return was worth everything 🙂

Yes I am going to second this (and since it’s from me, it’s more than a request)
I don’t mind us talking about about why we don’t see CS as a viable ship for Emma. But let’s remember that we ARE a ship and let ship community. And while we may have a haven we need to police ourselves a bit.
