RG, they can make Bae another actor by having something happen to cause his face to change or something. so even if MRJ needs to be off the show, they can still bring him back. if there’s a will, theres a way

Well…317 has some awesome swordfighting, and Belle being cute for her traditionally long 2 second cameo. Also has some Ariel, and a tiny happy ending if you’re into those. (I am. “Tiny” is among my favorite episodes cuz someone gets a happy ending.)

    I’d watch it.

Keeper of Belle's Gold magic, sand dollar, cloaks, purple FTL outfit, spell scroll, library key, copy of Romeo and Juliet, and cry-muffling pillow, Rumple's doll, overcoat, and strength, and The Timeline. Meh.

Belle does a quick thing and is done. (Honestly. They keep saying “Emilie is doing her best work!” but is she really? Cause she shows up for a few a seconds to give the fans what they want, says some information you need, and then leaves. She isn’t actually DOING anything.)

the only important (plot wise) part of 317 was the last few seconds with the cursed lips.

And awesome swordfighting? It goes on for about 30 seconds and is over. Blackbeard was utterly wasted. Just there for no reason at all. And then dies.

And I totally agree with @Jaxer

Maybe they would show this fandom mercy and show him in the present.Memory less, living as an artist on a beach. Whatever. But alive. The characters won’t be clued in, but the audience would.

The characters will move on to their next magical crisis. He’ll be done with the show until the hacks decide to bring him back to reunite with his family during the series finale. (ala. Doug and Carol’s reunion after George Cooney left ER for a few years).

I could the writers doing something “bold” like this whereby MRJ is no longer part of the regular cast, but he makes enough appearances to suggest Emma and Rumple must once again strive to find Baelfire. By brining him back in the finale, they’d be reintroducing him as the catalyst of what drives Emma and Rumple, because he is both of their idea of a happy ending. Ending is the key word, because we won’t get to see their Manhattan-like reunion until somewhere towards the end of S4.

    Well if S3 = S1 then S4 = S2. So sure.

I’m sorry guys. I’m in a “everything sucks” mood. I firmly believe there is no hope. I don’t even think we’ll see Neal in the finale. I think we got our very last look at him in 319

    Unpleasant Crack Theory:

I doubt it to be honest. MC also tweets a bit with Sean (and his wife). His timeline is full of RTs including the rest of the cast, and even Adam, and he tweeted Eddy Happy Birthday. And while I was scrolling to try and find the pic from a cast gathering where I’m pretty sure he was hanging out with Colin, I ran into a pic of him with David Anders at the end of season Wrap Party the cast had at the Vancouver Aquarium. And didn’t JMo say in a recent interview something about having a bad day in public and maybe saying things you shouldn’t have? That made me wonder if perhaps she and MC have sorted out their differences. So I’m not so sure that MC is really on the outs as much as we thought he might be.

It’s totally understandable. I know you don’t want to hope, and that is totally fine. I’m just going to leave this little nugget here for when you’re feeling better.

Rumple: My son in not lost. He’s dead. You watched him die.
Zelena: This isn’t idle cruelty. I promise you he’s alive and waiting for you to find him.
    Rumple: Find him where?
Zelena: Not where, when. I’m going to change the past.

Zelena’s magic has successfully opened up a time portal. Mark my words, Rumple will find his son again. It’s just a matter of when. Even if present day Rumple is nihilistic, pastRumple is still driven by the idea of finding his son and crazy enough to do so.

If Zelena gets offed in the past, (which would bring Neal back in the present), her death will be similar to Cora’s in that the tool they were gonna use for their own nefarious plan ended up backfiring and killing them. With Cora, she gave Snow the candle to try and corrupt her, and in the end, Snow used that candle to end Cora’s life. If Zelena’s got some failsafe whatever pendant magic that ensures her time spell still gets cast, and it backfires by getting her killed in the past before she even gets to do a bunch of this wickedly fun stuff she reveled in so much, then her own plan’s backfiring on her just like Cora’s did. Like mother, like daughter. And they’re all about the parallels and junk right now.

The problem though is that in the past, no one but Hook and Emma know the future.

Emma meets Rumple, but he’s not going to know who she is or anything about “Neal” or even Zelena’s plan. And Emma can’t TELL him because that changes the future. The press release even states that Hook/Emma are going to try and avoid doing that. Same applies for killing Zelena in the past (who would be in OZ at the time anyway). I don’t think the past part of 321-22 anything to do with getting Neal back or changing the past, it’s about Emma seeing her parents in the past, trying to not step on any butterflies, and accepting her magic and status as Savior, once and for all.
