I am glad they’re releasing the Belle one–but I’m just not that thrilled with how the whole thing was handled. Seriously, Belle’s wasn’t ready until now? They didn’t change a thing on it. I bet if those were made by fans, their lazy marketing staff just went with it since Emilie was using it on her twitter.

Belle’s was released this week because 307 is heavily focused on Belle in SB
So maybe 308 = Neal’s poster and 309 = Henry’s!
I want..so badly…for Neal’s to be the one we saw earlier.
I also agree with KFC: this whole thing was handled poorly.
Did anyone read the Moody Tink article? In it Rose McIver was asked about CSF and if Tink notices and she says Tink that does but you have to wait and see how she helps or doesnt’ help Which make me remember KFC’s somewhat cracky but cool photo analysis of the Ginny picture near the end of the summer. The one where Neal’s holding the coconut, Emma’s holding the lamp, and Tink is crouched on the ground with her hand on both of them? What if Tink, even though she doesnt have pixie dust, can see that they’re TL? And she points it out to Hook out of friendship?

That would actually make a lot of sense. I would like to see ABC put some thought into their marketing of Neal/Swanfire for those fans whom the CS kiss seems to repel. That promo poster of Belle is officially official. Not only has the ABC OUAT FB page posted it, but so have Adam and Emilie on their twitter accounts.

Adam confirmed that the Belle and Neal posters going around were official on Twitter a while ago. (Though I’m lost as to why you’d cut a bit of Belle’s skirt out to show the moon? It’s otherwise very pretty, but the skirt doesn’t look right.)
Anyway…thoughts on the triangle.
What makes it fascinating and heartbreaking for me is that Hook is going to be incredibly torn over this. While he has clearly fallen for Emma, he also cares enough about Neal that he isn’t going to want to be in the way of Neal’s happiness–he believes himself a man of honor, and he knows that he hurt Neal badly as a boy (first by breaking up his family, though on the Milah side of the equation he feels more than justified, he gets that this hurt Baelfire a lot, and then by selling him out to Pan in a move that was definitely bad form, and we don’t know what further history they may have had in Neverland…but, oh yeah, he also tried to kill Neal’s dad, again, feeling justified on one level but realizing that Neal may possibly have been hurt by this).
But I think, too, that’s why SF is the sturdier ship–for Hook to do the right thing and redeem himself, he will have to relinquish his claim to Emma’s heart (as long as that’s what she wishes). It would be an act of love toward both of them–Milah’s son and Emma–to allow them to be together and rekindle their love.
And then he can go heal Mulan’s broken heart. Or be with Tink. Or something even more beautiful.

Agreed. I go back to Good Form. Hook: “I just want you to know that I also know what it’s like to live without hope.” Because Emma instantly picked up on Bae’s loss of hope in the cave. Emma: “I know what this is. This attempt to bond with me. I’m not in the mood.” Hook’s loss of hope, whatever it was, didn’t come across to Emma. But without even being there, Neal’s did.
Agreed! Yes, that line bothered me a lot. Not only did it sound forced and out of the blue, but it’s just another reason why I hate it when people complain that Neal is not giving Emma space or not understanding her…etc…It came across as more pushy to me then Neal’s “I’ll never stop fighting for you” line. Even Emma realizes that and she told him to stop, she doesn’t have the energy to deal with him right now.
On another note. In the next episode “Dark Hollow” , I’m kinda hoping Neal comes across his old cave hideout and I’m curious to see his reaction at seeing it again after all these years since it wasn’t a pleasant experience for him, given how he said it to Rumple “You know when I was sleeping in a cave…I use to dream about you coming to rescue me.” There would be a lot more of a bonding experience with Emma since she’s also lived in a crappy place like the foster home she describe before. And Hook and Emma seeing his reaction to it would be painful. (wishful thinking, but I’m hoping that they touch on something like this in the episode!!!)

This is precisely what I think too. I wrote a post a few pages back about why I think Mulan and Hook might be experiencing a similar kind of theme this year: love is sacrifice.
Unrequited Love: Mulan is a woman with very interesting motivations of love, honor, and sacrifice. “Love is sacrifice” is her mantra, and she lives by that code. She fights for a real sense of honor. She seems to love Philip as a brother in arms, and she is fiercely loyal to whomever she serves. First, she was protective of Philip against Aurora, because it seems that Mulan can be a bit possessive at times. And yet we watched Mulan as she came to love and cherish Aurora, perhaps as even more than just a friend. And yet, Mulan has had to go through the pain of watching Aurora and Philip demonstrably share true love’s kiss as well as having a baby together. Mulan’s sense of honor compels her to respect that her two friends, Aurora and Philip chose each other, and yet, it’s painful for her not to have someone love her in return. Unrequited love is full of heartache, but it doesn’t make it any less real. Now the question is whether Captain Hook’s love for Emma will prove to be unrequited or not. If Emma and Neal chose each other, would Hook’s own sense of honor compel him to wish them well?

He did but then the ABC ofiicial ONCE account said they weren’t, but the official ones were coming soon. It bummed a lot of us out when I posted the tweet from ABC here on this thread several pages right now.
