ParticipantABC would rather their whole entire office building burn to the ground then ever let go of money maker Colin/Hook leave their show.
Bae isn’t getting a second chance. Hook’s going to be a hero but not in that way.
FINE if that must be the case, then Rumple stays dead. then we will see him next season in some other form.
remember A&E were asked “Is Rumple really dead? we’ll never see him again?” A&E said something like yes he’s dead but I’d be disappointed if we don’t get to see him in some form won’t you? – not exact quote but that’s the gist I got

Bobby isn’t used the way Colin is. Colin, when he is in full Hook costume and makeup, is their money maker, along with Lana is full on EQ drag. Why do you think so much of the stuff tweeted/posted by the ONCE ABC account is *just* Hook and Regina?
They even ignore Rumbelle which is the the BIGGEST ship in the entire random.

ParticipantHis hasty OOC death, the totally crappy funeral, the “let’s all forget about Neal” from the entire cast of characters, the massive amount of rug sweeping being done to make Hook look like a loving step papa and not the man who sold Bae to the Lost Boys, Emma’s “past is in the past” + not wearing the Swan Pendant which btw
Granted, Neal’s death was totally ooc. They didn’t dwell too much over the funeral. Yet, Hook hasn’t been shown as a loving papa figure. Nor has he really been a good companion to Emma. He’s been shown to be cannon fodder. As to Emma not wanting to live in the past, well she’s about to do just that. She’s getting sucked through a time portal in 3×21 so she’ll literally be in the past. She’s going to change the course of history. Also, Emma was wearing the swan pendant in 3×19. It’s just not visible in 3×20 because Emma is always wearing her jean jacket buttoned up. As for the FB, it’s possible she does have it but just isn’t wearing it at the moment owing to a costume change to blend in.

ParticipantI have another theory that I’ve been playing around with in my head to do with the time-continuum theory as presented in BTTF and BTTF 2. Here is a clip form in which Doc explains how changing events in either the past or the future can disrupt the timeline, in which case an alternate reality gets created in the present.
Back to the Future paradox explained:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OPkqY9doGE
What if everything that just happened in S3b is the alternate reality? That could be why everything has seen so “off” about how the characters have been acting. We know time travel is involved somehow.
Is it possible that they way Hook got to NYC in 3×12 was by means of time travel? Maybe Hook did something to mess with the temporal events, in which case, everything that happened in 3×12 onward is some sort of crazy AU.
If we’re going with the theory that Hook = Biff, well then, there you have it. We know Future Hook travels back about 30 years to the past and punches his past self. That has got to cause some sort of disruption in the time continuum. Phee mentioned this before. In BTTF 2, Biff of 2015 figured out how to use the time machine to travel back to 1955, when he gave his younger self information which created an “alternate” 1985 (the present). Hook doing something similar would be fascinating to watch.
Now Emma (aka Marty) must travel back 30 years to circumvent this AU from ever being actualized in the present.

Emma was so devastated, and that shovel full of dirt she threw was so emotional that NO WAY are the writers just going to be OK with such an end to Emma. not to even mention the torture that went on in that cage. no. it was obvious in that episode that neither Emma nor Rumple (nor Henry) will be happily ever after without Baelfire.

if that’s your interpretation fine. but it was short, no words spoken, and focused more on Hook than anyone .And then, once Henry got his memories back, he said goodbye in a five second visit to his father’s grave. Emma was angry for one episode and then the next week “life goes on. Everything is fine. The past is the past” And the episode after that, she’s not wearing the Swan necklace, she’s giggling and smiling and flirting with Hook.
Hmmmm. Curiouser and curiouser!
#nospoilers = that’s exactly what’s going to happen but I’m not going to give it away.
He also said #nospoilers and wait and see when asked if Neal was going to die. And then he made fun of Neal’s death and our pain with that tweet the next day.
So if he is in the finale then I stand by the idea that it will be “this was always meant to happen” bullcrap.

ParticipantBiff and Lorraine (Marty’s mom) remind of Hook and Emma. I’m not saying Hook is as bad as Biff. Yet Hook does disregard Emma’s discomfort around him. It reminds me Biff’s disregard of Lorraine’s dislike of him.
