n, the fact that they focused on Hook at the funeral is because they want the audience to wonder about him. remember, he knew about Neal wanting to get his father back before Belle found it in the book he hugged Neal. he seemed to know a whole lot so they focused on his face at the funeral to emphasize his guilt ridden face. they could have easily swept any past relationship under the rug, but they didn’t. the most interesting thing about it was how when he told Henry about Neal, he said that he was a boy and that he had also lost his father to something dark and evil. as if Hook, the Hook that took Milah changed a lot in the fact that he owned that he tooki Bae’s mother, he singlehandedly ruined Bae’s life from the beginning.
had Milah not escaped, had Hook given up is ship to live in the village with Milah next door to Rumple and Bae so they could help Rumple parent Bae… maybe he wouldn’t become the DO, but Morriane’s parents couldn’t save her and they were two. so maybe he still WOULD become the DO, but at least Milah and Hook would be there to support Bae in is darkest hour, when his father became a monster… maybe Bae would never have ended up in neverland.

the most interesting thing about it was how when he told Henry about Neal, he said that he was a boy and that he had also lost his father to something dark and evil

He wasn’t referring to Milah and Hook. He was referring to Rumple becoming the Dark one

DSB, can you just rewrite the whole show for me? From season 2 on, just go through and fix all the plot holes and OOC moments and I’ll just read it and pretend like the TV show never happened. Pretty please?

Also, I had a random thought that will likely amount to nothing, but I might as well say it. We don’t know exactly how far back Hook and Emma go back in time. What if they go back far enough and Charming is still on the farm and it’s actually JAMES in those BTS photos with Abigail and Midas? Not sure the consequences of that, or if maybe Hook and Emma have to orchestrate the death of her uncle (does Emma even know she had an uncle? I’m not sure she does…), but it was just a random though. Discussions of real merit may continue now.

Just had a thought but if we get the upfronts this weekend, the list of actors as regulars will be included. So we might know before Sunday at 8

There is so much here that makes sense. It hurts to have hope!

I’m uncertain what to do Sunday. I’d never have been able to watch two hours straight through anyway. (Small house, one TV, two small boys, husband who works nights.) And since 0315, I haven’t even trying to distract the kids long enough to watch, just reading the IMDb recaps and then trying to poke my head into the chat to vent with everyone else. 🙂

Does anyone know if the Canadian airing is still at 6 p.m. Sunday? So that if anything miracle-related happens, I can actually try to watch?

Because I was still in the blissful land of the GA at the time, did we know that Colin and MRJ had been promoted this time last year? Certainly would have spoiled his “death” in 2×21.

Onion: I have no idea what Canada is doing, actually.

Text: Colin was made a regular in the middle of S2. MRJ was announced about a week or so after the Upfronts

    What exactly are the Upfronts?

Upfronts are when ABC announces the fall lineup for the following year. They’ll say that ONCE is renewed for S4 and give a brief little speech about what’s in store (mostly higlights that there are heroes and villains and it’s a fairy tale) but they give the cast list as well.

Why would ABC spoil that before the finale even has aired? That seems like it would give away too many important spoilers.

    On another note:
A&E confirmed in the recent TV Guide Lightening Round that the Knave of Hearts won’t appear in the finale of OUAT. So whatever scene was secretly filmed probably did not include Michael Socha.
