I wrote this before together with the Hook post but my post disappeared so I have to write it all over again. The thing that convinced me the most that this is NOT what the writers will stay with and that Bae cannot be dead and still have a happy show is the funeral scene.

First of all, the tune they used was the Papa/Bae tune as the casket was lowered. The writers made a point of it that Rumple was NOT there, and not just that, but every shovel-full of dirt that was thrown on the casket sounded like a thunderous assault that knocked Rumple to the ground crying in pain. I don’t know what the writers were implying that Zelena was doing to him while they were burying his son, but with the tune usually reserved for the Rumple/Bae moments and the beating he was getting alone in his cage while Zelena was laughing at him and asking if Bae was worth all that trouble, the writers confirmed what I was saying all along: that this character was inconsolable, and it cannot be possible for him to ever be happy without his child.

This is why it cannot be real. It is an AU that must be fixed if any of the characters will get any kind of happiness.

Those lightening round answers are excellent. Every time we get something like that, I hold my breath for the slam down… it still hasn’t happened. Plus, there was this tidbit –

lol. I thought everything was vague to the point of pointlessness.

Is it wrong that I’m ever-so-slightly encouraged that — despite the fact I’m sure they got many-many Neal/Bae questions — they didn’t go near the subject at all? Would have been very easy for them to say, “Yes, he’s really most sincerely dead; you’re not getting anything more there.” After all, that’s hardly a spoiler now.

Probably. But I’ll take what I can get.

FYI – just checked the cable guide on my TV and the finale is currently ONLY airing at 8pm EST across ALL of the earlier time shifts. So no early 6pm head start because of the Atlantic feed that I can see.

Also, give me a stupid easy suggestion for a Puck Pic and I’ll see what I can manage tonight. ^_^

“Puck” keeps making me think of the show “Gargoyles.” Anyone remember that one? I highly recommend it. A 1990s Disney cartoon that dealt with Shakespeare, folklore, etc., very well-written. (Many Star Trek-related voices.) I was a huge fan.

Shakespearean scholar that I have been (English minor), that’s still the Puck I always think of now. 🙂

Here’s a “Midsummer Night’s Dream” quote for us in this SF thread:

“For aught that ever I could read,
Could ever hear by tale or history,
The course of true love never did run smooth.”

Or this one for season 3B:

    “If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumber’d here
    While these visions did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding, but a dream …”

Ask and ye shall receive. These are the only hats I have on hand (everything else is packed up).

ABC, go get eaten by our rogue bison and let the vultures destroy your remains.

This “article” is stupid and pointless. And HOW in the name of PUCK is “Walsh Showing His True Colors” one of Emma’s most ROMANTIC moments? *facepalmfacepalmfacepalm*

Keeper of Thor’s Hammer, Will Scarlet’s Genie Bottle, Emma’s Gun, Emma and Henry’s Moment at the Castle, Cora, and the infamous Family Tree!

Maybe if you’re a masochist who likes your romance to come with a heavy dose of pain and heartbreak?
