Here’s the longer version of the scene with Baby Fred Savage telling it like it is: “I’m telling you you’re messing up the story, now get it RIGHT!”

The idea of man “winning” a woman over is so repellent to me that I can’t even form a thought about Eddy right now.
When a woman says NO it means NO. End of freaking story. There is no continual pressuring; there is no “love me because I am so in love with you!!”
When she says NO, it is the end of the story. You don’t make unwanted pursuit into romance.
“Oh Emma just doesn’t know how she feels!!”
Bull. Crap. Don’t you ever say that a woman can’t decide whether or not she wants to be courted by a man. At that moment, Emma has said no. She has said that it’s not what she wants. Then you back the frack OFF. You don’t set about trying to change her mind with your sexual prowess.I’m going to sit here and stew for a bit.

I totally agree. It’s like Emma has stopped being a strong independent woman as Hook has slowly managed to break her down. He’s trying to break her resistance. That is not a good thing. Emma isn’t playing hard to get. She’s not just hiding behind a wall. She doesn’t envision a future with Hook. While some women do like to be perused when welcomed, Hook has been shown to be stalking her in an unwelcome manner. How difficult is that to grasp?

That just… wasn’t that bad.
She didn’t make herself Diana – or Camilla – to his Charles. She didn’t make them William & Kate. No, she made him a cheater, and herself from an entirely different story – nay, a different realm. You can almost see Emma’s wheels turning, “Think of a princess, think of a princess… Cinderella. No! Aurora. No… Belle? No, damnit, these people actually exist here. Princess they won’t know… Leia!”
The sky might yet fall, but those :45 of an 85 minute ep left the clouds above head where they belong.
Cause this story needs some mending & a better happy ending...

In a shocking turn of events, I agree with DSB. 😉 Sneak Peek didn’t bother me. *shrug* They couldn’t have labeled them as a more mismatched pair of royals.
May 8, 2014 at 12:34 pm #267575OnyxParticipantBeen in lurk mode, ’cause you know, Sad Town. Saw the sneak… and some tweets… and some other stuff and uhm yeah… The sneak itself didn’t really bring me down or anything. I thought it was kinda funny believe it or not, but it’s the dread of what comes after this scene and in the rest of the ep/new season. I should probably just go with the flow and not worry so much about things that may or may not happen. However, it’s just incredibly likely that this “thing” WILL happen and well you may color me surprised if it doesn’t.

why Charles? that’s not Star Wars, right? *Trekkie*"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 8, 2014 at 12:41 pm #267579ouatrandothoughtsParticipantLOL Marty, I do write fanfiction, thank you very much. It’s basically all Rumplestiltskin centric in one way or another, so you’d probably like it.

Prince Charles…the crown prince of England.
