KFC I think they are just giving Neal’s storyline to Hook so that’s why what they are saying fits better with SF story they are just rewriting CS with SF. And we are just suppose to pretend season 2 didn’t happen.

If they wanted to Go CS fine. I still don’t think Neal had to die with an unfinished story to foster and jump start that relationship. Season 3A thought Neal was dead, season 3b Neal died for real.

They could have let Neal lived and be happy with someone else and still get his happy ending.

Funny it took Neal’s death to start the triangle and Neal’s death to end it the triangle.

Or is it because deep down the writers new Emma and Neal loved each other to much to move on? So much so that Neal had to die to lead to CS????

I would love to be that fly on the wall to see what they told MRJ when they were pitching it to him and then when they told him about killing off his character.

Eh. Those interviews have finally done me in.

I just wrote something for work about women and their right to say no, to tell someone “not interested” and “go away” and be listened to and RESPECTED and how absolutely essential it is to teach our daughters (and our sons!) that … and for a show I once loved to be delivering this horse**** portrayed as SO ROMANTIC …

Just no. I hope Twitter blows up on them. But I’m done.

I’m actually nauseated. This has killed any remaining affection for this show like even Neal’s death didn’t manage.

    From the YahooTV interview

Kitsis: I can lie to you, but Neal will remain in flashbacks and in our hearts, but the character as we know him is dead. That’s not to say we won’t see him on the show. We love him and we love Michael Raymond-James, and it’s not impossible to see these characters. Death can be really sad, but it doesn’t have to mean we never see you again thanks to the way time works on the show.

    We knew it, but…it’s over.

The full transcript for the Neal section. It’s not a spoiler, so I’m not going to spoil it out

HitFix: The Wicked Witch may or may not be dead, but with magic being such an integral part of this series, does anyone have to truly be dead? Neal seems to be, but I’m hoping for a loophole here.

Kitsis: We have seen people can truly be dead on this show. We’re seeing that with Neal and Sheriff Graham. Certain characters, like Peter Pan, have never come back, either.

Horowitz: I think the show pretty clearly delineates that you’ll see the last of some characters except through flashbacks.

    Yes but…just…WHY?

It still doesn’t make sense. Graham’s death hurt, but at least it made sense. Pan’s death was the only way to stop him. Cora, too. But Neal’s death was just so not the only way to handle ANYTHING we’ve seen.

I’m hoping they’ll feel a little more free to explain why after the finale. Because I just want it to make sense. That’s all.
