Well, I can take consolation in the fact that at least ONE of my longterm “ships” has just been solidified in a loving, lasting commitment. Tonight on TBBT, Leonard and Penny got engaged! Now THAT is a relationship that is near and dear to my heart. It was built up over SEVEN seasons of friendship, will-they-or-won’t-they trials only to become strengthened by that bond. They truly love each other and are good for each other. Leonard had proposed several seasons ago, only to be turned down because of Penny’s phobia of commitment. Yet rather than acting dejected or resentful, he told Penny that when the time was right for her, SHE would be the one to propose to him. And by golly, she came to HIM. Nerdy little Leonard has the babe coming to him. I love those two and it’s why TBBT is going to be around for at least TEN seasons!

@ouatrandothoughts – This has actually taught me to stay as far away from anything A&E are involved with from now on. Best I can do is take this as a learning experience.
I’m still on the Conspiracy Train though. There are too many suspicious things from this season that smell decidedly fishy to me, so if anything I’m monitoring the route of the Conspiracy Train with great interest for the foreseeable future while I co-run Sad Town as Co-Mayor with Onyx (who will have to bring in that Sad Villa now for all of A&E’s ex-Once lovers. The Sad Shack is sadly too small). Can’t kick me out of the community just yet, but I guess I’m just a poser or something at this point for sticking around when I don’t even like the show anymore…

RG I ave to admire your loyalty. I would NOT stay with this show if they really let Neal die for real
Gah. I can’t stop hoping. “In that form.” I ship SF but it was never mainly about that ship for me–it’s about Rumple and Henry’s happy endings when it comes to Neal. (Emma’s too, but he’s so much more than a competing love interest for Hook.)
And whatever happens, it WAS true love.

“The character as we know him is dead.” What does that even mean? The character Neal is dead. We know. But as we know him? Does that mean we may know him in some other form? Oh right, Baelfire….

I have to second Marty’s conspiracy theory here. Time on this show is non-linear. Time loops exist as they did in BTTF. A time portal just opened up for goodness sake! Might we see not Neal, but Baelfire again in the past? Hmmm.
