So in the latest interview again with the we decided to kill Neal in bfe the season, just didnt know when, that makes me even more angry, so not only they keep lying about it, but if this is true we were lied during summer and until the spoiler came out, we were promised more about the Neal and Sfer.
Also always wanted to write hook and emma, what the hell is this? so now they were written since the beginning? so this is simply sick, so they make hook part responsable for neal miserable life, and then always wanted to make him end with the person neal loved and had a child after having an affair with neal mother.

Here is how I understood that interview by A&E. The planned for both Hook and Neal to be introduced as love interests for Emma in season two. Neal was Emma’s first love. Hook was the anti-hero who loved Neal’s mother, Milha, and then fell in love with the mother of Neal’s child. Now that does not mean Hook was always going to be introduced since s1 since it was confirmed that A&E didn’t even know they would get the right to Peter Pan until S2. What has been confirmed by both Jennifer Morrison and Robert Carlyle is that the father of Emma’s child was always going to be Baelfire. A&E planned for Emma to have met the son of Rumplestilitskin and to have given birth to Bealfire’s son. Those are things that are documented fact.
Now if A&E are telling us that Hook and Neal were both going to be contenders for Emma, well I believe it, since they were both presented with the potential to be love interests in 2×6. What is less certain though is whether Hook was only bumped up to series regular once ABC caught wind of how “electric” the chemistry is between Emma and Hook. Once ABC realized what a powerful “marketing tool” Hook could be, they probably gave A&E the green light to go full steam ahead with the love triangle.
What is less clear is exactly when A&E decided to kill off Neal. They said it was in summer after S2. A&E said they knew it was coming in S3, but they did’t know exactly which episode it would be in. That could be why the writing seemed a bit disjointed and why up until 3×14 Emma seemed to be thinking home was Baelfire’s hometown (New York City). It could be why at the start of the season Emma repeated how much she’d never stopped loving Neal and that she always would. Yet, I see now in hindsight how 3×6 might have been foreshadowing that Neal might in fact die in S3.
What I’m less sure of now is if (a) Emma will regret her confession from 3×6 and (b) whether anything will be done in 3×21 or 3×22 to reverse his death. I know the writers said Neal, as we know the character is 100% dead. But is Baelfire? Remember how tricky these writers can be. From Wonderland: “The red queen was meant to move on but Anastasia, her part was meant to continue.”

Did ABC seriously Photoshop Neal out of a promotional poster today??! Katie and another friend of mine were talking about something like that on Twitter but I couldn’t get an answer from anyone to clarify what was going on. If they did that, that is some SERIOUSLY effed up marketing department they have and they should all be FIRED for insensitivity and lack of creativity among other things. Can anyone help me out with this information? I’m at work and can’t really search for it right now. I cannot believe they would actually do that (especially if it’s the NL poster which Neal was part of this season) but at the same time, it wouldn’t surprise me at all.

FWIW, the question they were asked was if they always planned for Hook to be in love with Emma. Semantics perhaps, but that doesn’t necessarily mean “Emma and Hook in a relationship”.
As for the new promo pic, it’s so incredibly lazy, and I wish I could say I was surprised, but knowing the history of the goons who run that promo junk, I’m really not. *sigh*
