If nothing else, there is consolation to all of those who were angry at Neal for sending her to jail… he got her home, which is all he EVER tried to do. It’s why he walked away that night in Portland. He defined home for her, and he got her there. He loved her enough to sacrifice his happiness and his life for her… and now she can get it on with the pirate who stole his mother. I can’t even.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Seriously? I’m pretty sure the whole 87 mins I was groaning or trying not to look at the screen because it was so obvious where the story was going.
It was really nice to see MRJ on the screen again, though. And I’m very happy with the fact that it was Neal who saved Emma (and basically everyone else) and helped her understand what “home” means. I’m just bummed that he will never be a part of that home or even find his own away from Emma.

Also, I have to say that (IMO, of course) that final scene was extremely cheesy and this is coming from a HUGE fan of Frozen. I was really
hopingfor Jafar. If I’m being honest, I am slightly interested in what they’ll do with Elsa, though.So much to say and I’m sure I’ll ramble about it at some point, but right now all I can say is that I truly do not understand how they could build such a beautiful story for Emma and Neal and just toss it in the trash. It was Princess Emma’s true love fairytale story. And they threw it away.
Actually I will rant about one thing right now. Emma told Rumple to forget what she told him so the future wouldn’t change, at the same time as she was taking Marian back to the future where she didn’t belong, like that was totally fine and wouldn’t affect anything in the future, having a person there who didn’t belong. Hypocritical much?!?!
I was sobbing with anger at how personally betrayed I feel by Eddy and Adam. SUPER DRAMATIC, but I lost my dad when I was fourteen because of a selfish action on his part (suicide) and I think the hope of a happy ending for Baelfire and Rumplestiltskin has been a source of profound wish fulfillment for me.
That is now completely destroyed…thanks for bringing it back to real life for me, boys.

Yep, this clearly tells me that the writers changed the SF storyline to make way for CS. I’m sorry but that’s how I feel, because they’ve made just too many glaring OOC moments with a lot of characters so that they can keep Neal away and Emma can start her romance with Hook right away. The pacing is just off. If you love storytelling as a whole and not just one character you can see that it’s just weird for the characters to say one thing last season and then do a complete 180 the now.
Emma saying “I need you. I love you” last season and then “Never stopped loving him.” and then do a complete 180 by not even given much effort to change Neal’s fate when she so easily put effort into changing Marion. Just makes me flip the table.
This is why I feel hurt and frustrated A&E. I know you can’t hear me or care. But it’s how a lot of people feel.
