Shatner had a “Spatner” with Carrie Fisher on “May the 4”. He tweeted “your princess has abandoned you”. She responded with snark. He responded with more Snark. I dont’ know if it goes further back, but they’re both a bit outspoken.
The sad part is, people thought it was “cute” and they should “kiss and make up”. I bet people started “shipping” them in real life. I didn’t read enough tweets to see if anyone actually SAID it, but that’s our culture. If someone is snarky, must be love. Couldn’t possibly be they’re being a bit of a jerk, right?
I don’t blame SHatner for saying what he did, and having read Fisher’s book, well, she’s….got issues. We’ll leave it at that.
All that aside, I have to agree, that if Hook HAD a bean or knew where to get one at the cost of his ship, um, why wasn’t that a thing he’d have done before it was a DARK CURSE IS INCOMING emergency? Holy Plot Hole, and bad writing.
I do think the writers don’t care anymore. That right there is a HUGE sign they don’t, plus the other big theme in Frozen? “Let it go”–maybe they’ve just let it go about telling their story. They had a chance in WL to do what they wanted, without fan reaction and its done. It wasn’t rated as high as the main show but it also had FAR stiffer competition time slot wise.
As for the writers, Chambliss for example has a new SEVEN figure deal someone reported, and holy smokes. So maybe the original “team” is sort of checking out on their writing staff, and letting the ones who do the ship and soap stuff just run rampant. ABC wants that, as its the meat of their other shows. I enjoyed Agents of Shield, but sort of worried that will go south fairly soon. The best twist and writing happened because of things in the movie franchise, perhaps not the intended direction of the writing staff.
Anyway I had other thoughts but those will have to wait!

They reconned like S1, they once said that Emma was not a fairy tale character, another lie.
So i start now, on S4 they will recon S2, meaning that Neal was never Bae, was probably a lost boy that came with Bae to our world, and if is the last season ( who knows) they will also recon S3A, no henry was never the truest believer, pan was never rumple father and all that crap.
Elsa will probably emma from alternate time, or maybe a future daughter of emma and hook, who knows. One thing is probably sure, they will destroy the character and will make her a villain.
Also, is emma that stupid, oh sorry so OOC, so she says to rumple to drink the potion to forget, and then brings Marian, lets not even speak about all the things that could be changed or the things that really changed.Now everyone knows that time travel is possible, so who tells emma that in present SB, Rumple, or even now Regina wont try to go back in time again?
Also why bring the knave to the show? so they will recon Wonderland too?, since the ratings for this show were really low the GA that sees OUAT , probably doesnt know that Ana and Will ended together, and now they will recon, probably bring the Will to a triangle , with who dont know, maybe emma and hook.
The writers no longer what to do, i mean, say one thing in one scene and say another in the following scene, lets not forget that emma bc hook gave a ship simply kiss him, and even gives a speach how hook made her walls down, so in the past episode she said another thing.
@DSB thanks about the confirmation where SF scene was filmed, so in that case and taking in consideration that, i will say that this scene was filmed for 206, why they didnt release i think would confirm who Neal really was, just like the august/neal scene with the type writer, was all part of the filming of 206.

Didn’t watch the episode, but read spoilers. Couldn’t stay away. I needed to talk to somebody.
(Side note: If the over-reaching theme of Season 4 is “Actions have consequences, which I hope it is, Hook’s “issues” may yet come home to roost. We’ll see. Or I won’t “see,” but I’ll read. *shrug*)
Anyway, what I came back for: I was thinking about the last TV death I was really upset about (Trip on “Enterprise” … I don’t watch much TV, can you tell?) In the Star Trek novels, they completely ret-conned the death. (They did the same with Data’s in the “Star Trek: Nemesis” movie.) And there have been other times my brain has simply refused to acknowledge something like this (the Lone Gunmen in “The X-Files”) and in my personal head canon, it never happened.
We have lots of really creative people here. Let’s put together our own ret-conned season 3B. And maybe even 4 and beyond …
We could call it “Project Phoenix.”
It doesn’t have to be a total script re-write, although it could go there if we eventually want it to do so. Starting out with the episode names of 3B, those interested could write a synopsis of each episode the way it should have been. Then if there’s still interest, we could write outlines of each episode. Then on to actual vignettes … and/or scripts.
I think it would be cathartic. And even … fun? And Neal would live on in something more than our hearts.
