KeymasterBasically, the writers somehow manage to turn Neal, the man Emma loved and the father of her child, into her baby brother. How very unoriginal of them.
- Emma = Princess Liea
- Neal = Luke Skywalker
- Hook = Han Solo
Luke and Leia were brother and sister. A&E managed to make Neal, the father of her child, into Emma’s brother (even though Baelfire and Baby Neal are obviously two different people). The writers just had to go there, didn’t they?
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. They made the father of her child into her brother. Because now Leia and Han can be together without worrying about Luke because “he was her brother all along”

^Exactly. I said it didn’t I say it? That if the baby was to be named after Neal the argument would forever be that they had more of a brother/sister relationship anyway. SUCH horse manure!

*looks at Henry*
Yes, totally only a brother/sister relationship. I’m sure Henry was hatched from an egg

I have no doubt that this will soon be canon. *has turned Sad Town into Bitter Town*

ParticipantLisaS, I’m in. We’ll see who else is.
Anyone else wonder if Henry’s distress in the finale will be linked at all to trouble in S4? I could see Henry trying to see if he can tap into his own magic … maybe to bring his dad back … especially since he has the example of Marian right in front of him now. They could even link a Henry-his family estrangement to Elsa-Anna if they wanted.
Not that I’m watching any of it. But I wonder.

ParticipantI doubt it will do a darned thing but I suppose it won’t hurt. Sending it to the official OnceABC account would probably be the most logical thing to do, we know how ABC loves their social media.
Reminded today that I am horrible at grieving. Last night, I had to be quiet so I didn’t wake roomies, so I couldn’t cry like I needed to. Today in car, eyes would not stop leaking. Get home, give myself full permission to sob so I can get it OUT and stop this nonsense and… nothing. My stomach hurts and I am mildly teary.
My meltdown after 315 was nearly a decade in coming and I was so hopeful I could get this out in an appropriately-timed manner. I just need to cry and pick up and move on with my life but right now I am too upset to be functional but not upset enough to let it out. Today was a wise day to schedule myself off :). I can’t even read fanfic and y’all know fanfic is like my air!!!
Bah, this is why I am not allowed to ship. I have inappropriate emotional responses to unimportant stuff… I swear I am going to make a poster of all of the craptastic hurtful stuff that happened in the whopping two months I was in this fanbase and put it on my wall, so I remember next time I am tempted. It will just start with the numbers, “315.” For something that is “not important,” why does it hurt so bad?!
(Yes, this post was all about me and not about SF. All I have to say about that is to repeatedly yell “IT’S EFFING RIDICULOUS!!” at the top of my lungs and that’s just not productive. That’s really where I am today. All of the amazingness that should have been, and just, no, for reasons of extreme stupidity. Everyone else, yes, crushed hearts and burned at the stake and dissolved into goo and shadow-ripped and flying monkeyed and sleeping cursed and and and… but stick a meat thermometer in a manhole cover and YOU ARE DEAD FOREVER. EFFING RIDICULOUS!!!!!)
Cause this story needs some mending & a better happy ending...

ParticipantYeah. The whole name-the-baby-Neal has a very high ick factor to me. They named her *brother* after her *lover* Ooookayyyy then!! We all figured Ginny cried because she was touched… perhaps she was just apalled. Given that our formerly bubbly and tight knit cast has all but disappeared from social media, it would not surprise me. It doesn’t seem this turn of events went down well AT ALL. Perhaps because the poetry they’d been promised since the show’s inception turned into “Blarggle” overnight?
