I was wondering what on earth was going on with the gloves. Glad to see it cleared up 🙂

Ok guys I haven’t wrote in here really since 315 cos I haven’t been able to articulate everything I needed to say, I’ve ranted to Lisa over Skype and found some solace in writing AU fanfic and clung to the smallest ray of light in the darkness that was the aftermath of Neal’s death. Yet after this finale…

You know the kisses between Emma and Hook didn’t bother me; the first one was a distraction and had no passsion and the second while it lasted longer and had emotion it was just any other make out session with a hot guy… see what I think Emma was doing was trying to do what Neal told her..Find happiness even if it isn’t with me. You know I couldn’t fault Emma for that, Neal wouldn’t. Snow said it in NL Neal would forgive you, what I can’t forgive is the way it was done, yes Hook gave his ship for Emma, but still SO MANY things aren’t being addressed; this is NL all over again, a kiss as payment for saving her.

People may say how many times can Hook prove himself to be changed… it’s being honest about how he came to be in the situation he is in. Why is it Hook never has to pay a price for his wrong doings.. losing his ship wasn’t a consequence cos he’s got the girl, which makes me wonder.. how long will it last, it didn’t for OQ. (but this is Hook ABCs poster-boy, he can do so much wrong but that’s okay he means well and looks good doing it…)

I guess to sum up what I wanted to say is… This future wasn’t meant to be… Marian was meant to die… they will have to correct it, now they have means to do it; the portal is still there and active and the dark fairy wand is in SB.. Rumple may not have his memories but Emma does, she used the portal and I’m sure (not very) that she will be asked how she got back, ‘cos they will need to rectify the past once more.

Oh and a little something I wrote to make myself feel better I thought I’d share seen as I saw someone mention Neal as Han…
    Neal       = Han Solo
Neal was a thief  = Han Solo was a Human smuggler/thief
Neal was born in FTL then & abandoned by mother at an early age & then years later again by his father resulting in him landing in England and being taken in by the darling family. Neal later sacrificed himself for Wendy Darling and her brothers, who were being threatened by the shadow of an evil boy called Pan who lived in Neverland. Neal was taken here by the shadow, but he managed to escape its clutches and landed in the sea where he was rescued by a Pirate named Captain Hook whom grew quite fond of him teaching him how to sail and navigate the stars. It didn’t last long and Hook handed Neal over to the evil boy Pan where Neal suffered for many years until he escaped years later in his teens.
Han was Born on Corellia, he was orphaned at an early age and taken by the pirate Garris Shrike to serve on his crew. He was treated cruelly, and served Shrike for many years before escaping while in his teens.
Neal became a thief (stole a car) to survive the new world he landed in, years later he met a girl, who when trying to steal his car formed an instant bond and fell in love.Though he later left her under the impression it would reunite her with the parents she never knew and break the curse that was cast upon them and their town.
Solo became a smuggler, and fell in love with Bria Tharen, though she left him due to her duties to the Rebel Alliance. Solo then entered the Imperial Academy at Carida, serving with distinction. He was kicked out, however, when he stopped an Imperial officer from beating a Wookiee named Chewbacca with a neuronic whip for resisting capture. In gratitude, the Wookiee swore a life debt to Solo, protecting him with his life. He became a smuggler once again, with Chewbacca at his side. Piloting the upgraded and customized Millennium Falcon, which he won in a game of Sabacc against Lando Calrissian, his future ally, he became known as one of the best smugglers in the galaxy.
    Neal died. TBC?
Han was frozen in carbonite (dead)revived by Leia with the help of friends.
How similar are those backgrounds..coincidence..I think not… also funny similarities..
    Hook and Luke
Hook lost his hand to Rumplestilkin (Emma’s Leia ‘father’)
Luke lost his hand from his own father (Leia’s too)
Hook likes to keep an annoying friend called smee around. Luke kept an annoying robot C3PO around.

Sorry for the essay I finally found what I needed to say. Keep holding onto whatever makes you see the light in the darkness.

Are we really supposed to believe that Dark One Rumple of the past wouldn’t have done everything in his power to avoid his son’s death in the future? I don’t believe it! That version of Rumple was not the Rumple of 3×11. That Rumple wouldn’t have drunk the forgetting potion to forget Emma telling him his son had died. Rumple of the past never would have “honored his son’s sacrifice” because he was so determined to find him after 300 years.

The Carrousel Scene, this is what I love about Emma and Neal there was so much hope and so much life with them and I rooted for those crazy kids to get their happy ending. I wanted that lost boy and that lost girl to find a home, a family. One would get that the other would not. Perhaps this is a Jack and Rose thing like the Titanic situation. Death separated them, but Jack gave Rose some inspiration and hope to break free from her beautiful prison. Rose married, had children, loved and was happy. She went on with her life but she never stop loving Jack. And when she died, her spirit Joined Jack on the titanic by the clock. I like to think that Emma and Neal will reunited with each other on Carrousel by the beach, in their own personal heaven called Tallahassee.

*sniff* Yeeaah, this. This is my headcanon.

Someone needs to write it. Hmmm …

I’m not saying I’m going to, necessarily. (Crazy busy lately.) But Ranisha, if I did, would you mind? Your idea.

    3×22 Neal and Emma Flashback

Neal: It was home. It was nice. That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it.

Gah. I just miss what they had so much. They never found Tallahassee. 🙁

I was skimming through 80% of the episode so I could have missed this answer. Was Snowing’s flickering lights addressed?

    Nope

THIS POST brings up a lot of valid questions. Will A&E ever have the balls to address them?

    all of that!!!

THIS IS NOT A FAIRY TALE. This is a story of how Villains get to win. That’s it.

    Perfect summation of S2-3

    @Lauren nicely articulated!

I’ll believe it when someone shows be proof that HECK froze over.

Gah. I just miss what they had so much. They never found Tallahassee. 🙁

I firmly believe that this episode was supposed to be Neal and Emma finding Tallahassee. It would be a year since 221 and 222. This was the payoff for us. But we got robbed.

Gave in and watched the Swanfire scene. GAH.

The sheer chemistry between them …

It’s funny. I was talking to my husband last night and he wanted to know why I wasn’t interested in watching the finale. (He was going to try to keep the kids occupied for two hours and everything! Good man.) I had told him a little about why I felt the way I did after 0315, but this time I went into more detail.

He’s just finished a rewatch of the original “Battlestar Galactica” from the 1970s, a show he hadn’t seen since he was a kid. (Yay, Netflix.) He didn’t remember a lot of the context, so he also read up online about some of the events surrounding the show.

The show ran only one season in 1978 to some acclaim (OK, it’s cheesy to modern eyes, but in a classic ’70s way), then was restarted in 1980. However, the network apparently got involved and dictated all manner of things, from character relationships to “educational content” to script changes … and it bombed and was canceled after 10 episodes. He said everything I told him about OUAT 3B made him think of that.

So, unfortunately, that sort of thing is not unheard of. (That was even ABC!) And I think SF just feel prey to it.

(*snort* Can you just see someone picking up OUAT 25 years down the line for a “reimagining” the way BSG was? )

I would like to file a police report for one stolen Happy Ending.

It was taken by someone wearing Neal’s face, but didn’t act like him at all. Oh, and it was probably orchestrated by some guys at computers who type things. They call themselves “writers”, but I call foul. It’s a conspiracy. I think the Happy Ending might have ended up on the Black Market. Please take me seriously Officer… Happy Endings aren’t a joke…

I may have lost my mind… this time in the pathetic sense and not in that Lunacy Junction sense.
