LOL I have an image of Muses uproar by the abc putting their hand into the swanfire story. They are transforming from Muses to Furies and will breath madness come season 4.

Emma, Neal, and Henry are true love, the Muses has declared it.

    prompt: emma’s afraid of heights

“This is a bad idea,” Emma muttered, standing a few feet off from the base of the bare-bones, half constructed house in front of her. She crossed her arms, warily watching her boyfriend hoist himself up, testing his footing on the framework.

“Is not,” he shot back, stubbornly, climbing up clumsily to the second floor, settling down on the frame and swinging his dangling legs haphazardly as he gave her a cheeky smile. “This whole development got abandoned when the contractor went broke, nobody’s gonna notice we’re here. Didn’t even have to break into anything this time, we’re fine.”

“I’m not climbing onto a death trap just because you’re not actually breaking the law,” she said, wryly, rolling her eyes.

He raised his eyebrows, a wide grin spreading across his face.

“Are you afraid of heights, Emma Swan?” he asked, delightedly, a teasing lilt in his voice.

“No,” she said, quickly, shooting him a dirty look. “I’m reasonably concerned about climbing on a half-finished construction zone that could collapse at any time.”

“Uh-huh,” he grinned, bouncing a little on his beam, making Emma cringe automatically. He bit his lip, swinging down off the beam and haphazardly making his way back down.

“Hey,” he said, grabbing her hand, tugging her toward him. She grumbled a little, giving him a Look, walking into his arms anyway. “Come on, baby, it’s safe. House frame’s gotta be sturdy, right? I’m not gonna let you get hurt, you know that.”

“Yeah. Guess I do,” she muttered, cracking a small smile and nodding a little.

“Awesome,” he mumbled, grinning widely and pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

He led her over to the building, pointing out the best spots to get her footing. He trailed just behind her, patiently rambling on nonsense— it wasn’t really distracting from the climb, but Emma appreciated the effort.

She pulled herself up onto the beam carefully as Neal held an arm out to steady her. She settled down, gripping tightly to the wood, pointedly not looking down. Neal climbed up next to her—carefully, this time. He wrapped an arm around her waist, and the panic settling in her chest loosened just a little.

“Hey,” he murmured, against her ear, pointing out in front of them. “Look. Sun’s starting to rise.”

She smiled a little, looking out. “Is that why we’re up here? You know, we could still see the sunrise from the ground.”

“It’s about the perspective, Em, geez,” he grinned. He shook his head, shrugging a little. “I don’t know, I just…used to come out here by myself sometimes, ‘cause it was something to do, and it was always…nice. I mean. I just thought it’d be nice,” he rambled.

She took a deep breath and loosened her death grip on the beam, reaching out to grab his hand. He grasped her hand tightly, watching her carefully.

“You good?” he murmured. “We can go back down, I shouldn’t have dragged you up here, I’m sor—”

“No,” she said, quickly. “It’s nice. I think it’s nice,” she bit her lip. “I mean, you’re crazy. But. It’s nice.”

He grinned widely, looking all too pleased with himself. “Yeah?”

Emma rolled her eyes, smiling despite herself. “Yeah.”

(I swear every drabble that blog posts is perfection.)

It’s pretty funny sad when people try to explain away how the swan pendant survived the dark curse. The explanation given by Belle isn’t just a matter of her opinion. Fact 1: Snow’s engagement ring survived the dark curse. Fact 2: Rumbelle’s chipped cup survived the dark curse. Fact 3: Swanfire’s swan pendant survived the dark curse. Those are events that actually happened on the show. The most logical hypothesis is the one offered by Belle: those talismans were all born of true love, which is greater than any curse. Oh, here’s another fun fact. Fact 4: True Love can break any curse. If CS were TL then Hook’s power-sucking curse should’ve been broken when Emma pressed her lips on his, the way Snow’s sleeping curse was broken when Charming pressed his lips against hers in the pilot. Both Hook and Snow were unconscious, but the difference is Snow’s curse was broken but Hook’s wasn’t. Fact 5: Not only was Hook’s curse unbroken but it actually sucked Emma’s true love magic out of her. Emma, who embodies True Love, was able to break Graham’s curse , but her power was removed when her lips touched Hook’s. Fact 6: It wasn’t a True Love kiss from Hook that restored Emma’s magic to her but her own realization about what home meant to her, thanks to Neal. Yup. Emma’s true love is what helped her save herself. That is the power of TRUE LOVE.

@Corbin – You might want to remind this tool that just about everyone in the world actually enjoys bagels and consider them a fun food choice (and considering most of the fandom, aside from the rabid CSers who just won’t stop with the hate, actually liked Nealfire as a character overall…..I don’t find this nickname all that bad especially since bagels were the last meal that the SwanFire family had together at Granny’s :() while Hook simply rhymes with CROOK which is just a bad guy who commits crimes and who everyone wants to end up in prison…or worse. I prefer bagels to crooks but maybe that’s just me. 😉

Did anyone here not have a bad experience with their own “Hook”?! I had one too back when I was about 17-18 years old and worked at McDonalds. He was an older guy (maybe late 20s, early 30s…WAY too old for a teenager) and he gave off a slightly creepy vibe even though he wasn’t a horrible guy. I knew that he liked me because he kept doing all these nice things for me when we worked together. I was always nice to him because he wasn’t a mean guy or anything but I was definitely not interested in dating him. I started steering clear of him when I worked with him because he was making me uncomfortable but I never did tell anyone there. The added thing to this story though is that I only worked at nights since I was still in high school so if we had to close together, which were smaller shifts of people so it was harder to avoid him, I tended to get nervous when there weren’t as many people around me late at night. I finally turned down dates with him twice to get it into his head that I wasn’t interested in dating him. I know the second time I unintentionally hurt his feelings but I just didn’t want to go out with a  guy that was kind of creepy looking and way too old for me. I hate to judge on looks like that but he did give off that vibe even though he wasn’t a horrible guy. I didn’t really know that for sure so I had to be cautious. It’s hard for me to watch Hook now going after Emma because I get reminded of that guy who wouldn’t stop bothering me until I finally had to put my foot down. Instead of telling women that saying NO is okay, Once totally did a 180 and made Emma finally break down t his ‘charms’ and start making out with her ‘stalker’. I can’t even describe how disturbing that is for me and this is coming from someone who has only READ about the finale and hasn’t even watched it. I don’t know how the rest of you guys did that without cringing the entire time. Character assassination complete. 😥

I also PREACH Slurpeez’s post. I just wish I had hope for what that all meant for the future.

Adding another PREACH to Slurp’s awesome post. *fist bump* 🙂

Thanks @Phee. It’s been a while since that happened so it’s not on my mind all the time but OUAT brought it back up in season 3B (though I do still tend to keep my eyes open for creepy looking guys).

All this and more I got nothing else to add to this because Slurpeez just said it all in her post.

But let me just say one thing guys.
Neal maybe gone right now but I have faith that before the end of Once we will see Neal again and that SwanFire will end up as the winning ship when it’s all said and done Because That’s The Power Of Love

    @Corbin
There maybe some CS Fans out there who are going to gloat and try to be very dismissive of SwanFire even though it’s canon. Unfortunately you Corbin had the displeasure of having to deal with one such fan. I can tell just by that person’s language and writing style who it is and let me tell you guys this person is on the IMDb board and he/she has a lot of hate towards Neal & MRJ over there and is just as rude & nasty over there to anyone who likes Neal or ships SwanFire and doesn’t agree with their opinion about CS. I’m sorry that Corbin had a bad experience with someone like that

@corbin The writers said it best. If hook kisses Emma, (if CS becomes a “thing”). All of her magic, everything that makes her special, (everything that makes this show special and magical) will be removed.
    It’s a metaphore, see?

That was true for awhile. But they didnt seem to be having any problems at the end of 322.
