I guess we are suppose to pretend Season 2 didn’t happen.

But its strange we got Rumbelle, Snowing and thne love triangle fighting for Emma (who chooses Henry)? Which for me Rumbelle, Snowing, Captain Swan just doesn’t have the same ring to it in fairy tale sense as Snowing, Rumbelle, and Swanfire.

I’m trying to think of big picture and over all message. Snowing talked about love is sacrifice vs love is staying together, while Rumbelle was I know that with the strength of our love you will find it, so love is hope.So we get love is sacrifice, love is strength, love is staying together, love is hope.(This sound more like Swanfire to me than Captain Swan but I could be wrong?) Now one thing Swanfire have in with Swanfire and Snowing is they all turn away their love at some point. Rumple sent Belle away, but was later reunited with her. Snow told Charming that she didn’t love him and was later reunited with him. So its hard for me to see Neal leaving Emma as the breaking point for Swanfire. (Although I still can be wrong)

And lets not forget we had Kathyrn, David, Mary Marget, and little bit of Whale in S1.
I don’t know I’m going to keep nursing my Swanfire embers with hope.

I know I keep saying it so forgive the repeat, but the whitewashing thing is getting out of hand. There is a long list of things Hook has done against the CharMillStiltskin clan and their friends. He needs to be held accountable.

Could someone with twitter tactfully point that out to Adam Horowitz? For example, does Emma hold Hook accountable for leaving her in a jail cell in EF the same way she holds Neal accountable for letting her go to prison? I really want Adam to respond to the glaring double-standards going on.

Sometimes I feel like they are rewriting the entire Neal character in order to make Hook look better. Neal needs to absolutely apologize and recognize Emma’s hurt but why is it ok that Hook just tried to kill them all 5 days ago!! And then let’s focus on that story for marketing reasons! *eats cookies* Someone post a pretty thing.

YES!!  Hate how they are writing for him these days!

I get the feeling that to some extent, A and E are trying to make us forget some parts of S2 that didn’t go over so well. The magical compass will probably never be seen again. The Dragon will probably never get a story. Tamara’s hatred for magic will never be explored and for sure we’ll never see that tazer again.

I understand *why* from a TV perspective–ratings, criticisms, ect. But from a storytelling perspective they are missing a lot. If they honestly wanted me (as an individual not speaking for the rest of my ship) to ever believe in CS then they need to sell me Hook and for the first four episodes I thought I saw where they were going (and the other regulars here will probably back me up): it was going to come down to Hook being very interested in Emma but also thinking of Bae as his son and recognizing that for his character development he’d at least hesitate before making a move on Emma because of Bae. But all that basically got shot in the past few episodes. Suddenly Nealfire is just the “other guy” in the equation and it’s like they have no history at all except in these glances they gave to each other about the dangers.

I mean for heavens sake! They were in Bae’s Cave of Wonders and NOTHING about how Hook knew this is where Bae lived. Any mention of their history–not even a TEASE! (I would have settled for Hook saying “remember when I tried to bust you out of this joint? Fun times.”)

I am trying to figure out a way to do this. I think it needs to be addressed.

“Miss 88o” posted this on tumblr. Oh the feeeeels… Poor Neal. He has been so selfless his entire life.

After Neal finds out about Wendy being in Neverland. After Neal finds out about his sacrifice being for nothing and Pan destroyed the Darlings lives anyway, I want a scene where he breaks down a little bit over that fact that he’s made three major sacrifices in his life – trying to get Rumple to leave magic, going with the shadow for the Darlings, and leaving Emma – and all those decisions had major repercussions on all their lives. And all of their happiness. (And has basically been the driving force for the whole damn series. Seriously.)

And I want Emma to be there for Neal in that scene.

And I want this to be the moment where they start to heal, and Emma starts to fully comprehend Neal’s side of the story. Not forgiving and forgetting, they have a lot of work to do, but this will be a huge moment for the future.

It could be a great scene about never giving up. About hope.

Also, I want to remind everyone that LilRedSoupBowl on tumblr has been putting together all the voting for Nealfire’s fan names. I’m pretty sad at the finalists, after months of voting. 🙁 But she is still taking submissions so if you have any ideas, get them in LIKE TODAY.
My fav was Darlings, but Baelonians beat it. Today I’ve suggested she add “DarlingFires” “DarlingBaebies” and “DarlingHeroes” because now that we know the Darlings aren’t evil, and knowing how selfless he always has been, I would just like to honor his selflessness with our fan name :-/

Before season three, I don’t think the possibility of a full blown Hook/Emma romance even crossed my mind!! All my Hook love from Season 2 has just about disappeared now. I fully expected for him to be mending his relationship with Bae but  instead he has shown total disregard for Neal’s feelings. He is clearly looking out for number one and there wasn’t even an ounce of hesitation on his part with pursuing Emma.

Recently, I’ve started to  fear that due to Hook’s popularity and ABC’s in your face promotion of CS, that they will change their plans. 🙁  I’m quite angry and upset to see Neal not included in the latest synopsis. Hook and Neal’s history should of been revealed to Emma by now. I desperately wanted Emma to know that August took the money for the watches last season but nope still waiting.

Oh, my, that would be fabulous.  Storywise if this was a book, that is how it would happen, but I’m just afraid ABC is so in love with Hook that it will be like pulling teeth to get anyone to be sympathetic to Nealfire’s plight.

I never watched LOST but I do know from fandoms colliding and people in chat that nobody like the triangle on that show and this is becoming Lost 2.0.  You’d think they’d have learned from the criticism of last time.   But they don’t.  Writers for some reason are in love with the drama that love triangles bring.

Is it too much to hope that Jane Espenson would be a Swanfire shipper like she is for Rumbelle?  I need a Swanfire episode that matches the epicness of “Skin Deep”.

YES. YES. A THOUSAND TIMES, YES. That has been on my mind since last night. I think that Neal is going to be devastated to find out what happened to Wendy and her brothers and he’s going to be adamant about helping them along with saving Henry. And just maybe the Darling family is going to be the Triangle of Doom’s great equalizer that I think we’re all looking for in this thing. It seems like everything is going Hook’s way right now (including that whole ignoring all the crap he’s done thing that OUAT seems to be doing which is very annoying) but Neal in his own subtle way is making all the right choices with regards to Emma & Henry and I think seeing his reaction to that family’s plight and the fact that his sacrifice didn’t keep them from being hurt after all, might be the thing that wakes Emma up to the man that Neal really is inside. I agree that things shouldn’t be easy between them but she DESPERATELY needs to see things from Neal’s perspective and realize that he’s been hurting for a long time too. I don’t want to dismiss her feelings because goodness knows Emma deserves a case of Jack Daniels after everything that’s happened in her life, but she NEEDS to understand Neal’s life, all the sacrifices, the pain, the abandonment, the heartbreak, the loneliness, and realize that he’s not some type of monster. He’s been through his own stuff too and if they really want to tell a story of hope, they NEED to get these two characters into an understanding about their lives. There’s a lot Emma doesn’t know yet and this is a big one that she needs to know while they’re in Neverland. DO IT WRITERS. Don’t let us down about this one! 😮

BTW-I can’t take ABC and their marketing crap anymore (don’t get me started on that press release) so I sent this tweet to Adam:

@AdamHorowitz No spoilers but are you guys seriously going to ignore Hook’s bad choices/lies & continue to persecute Neal all season? =( (And yes, I used the unhappy frown face in my tweet) We’ll see if he answers. He’s answered me before, not too long ago actually, so maybe he’ll give us a little hint of things to come that won’t be so one sided. That would be nice to hear. Someone please stop me from sending a very nasty tweet to the official OUAT twitter because I’ve been fighting that all evening.
