Promo pics have killed RG not only is Emma going to see that Neal was a hero to Wendy but so is Rumple. Rumple is going to see how much heroic his little boy is. Gah. Cannot. Handle.

Those fabulous pics with Neal and Wendy about did me in especially since Emma is RIGHT THERE to see it all! Seriously, I am going to the doctor later today because I’m coming down with some type of illness and these pics actually brightened up my day. Neal the hero!!!!

I’m excited by this… But you can see from Emma’s face she is still in strained mode here, looking at everything, taking it in, with no genuine expression of well much at all. She’s probably worried it is a trap or that they aren’t getting Henry. I’ll have to see when the whole thing plays out, but it looks like Rumple and Regina crash through to the group in the jungle. They explain about Wendy, and go after her but is it the whole group? Do Regina, Tink and Hook go off after Henry, while Rumple, Emma, and Neal go to Wendy? It is hard to tell from the pictures.

Here is how I see events in present-day NL happening in 3×7: I think Regina and Rumple stumble upon Tinkerbell, Hook, Emma, Neal, Snow and Charming and give them the news about the box and Wendy. Then Rumple offers to go with Neal on the mission to save Wendy and Emma goes along for good measure (maybe she wants time with Neal without Hook lurking about?). While Rumple, Neal and Emma are searching for Wendy, Tink leads Hook, Regina, Snow and Charming to PP’s camp to save Henry only to discover the camp has been abandoned. Wendy tells the foreboding news about Henry to Neal, Emma and Rumple, who then rejoin the rest of the group to go to confront PP about Henry at Skull Rock.

KFC raises good points. I think all of this, rescuing Wendy, learning about Nealfire’s past with the Darlings, is only going to add to the internal stress because now she’s even more conflicted about what she thought she knew about Neal. Her only version of events for 11 years now was “Neal left me because I thought he didn’t love me” and now she’s about to learn just how much of a hero he was/is when it comes to people he loves/considers family.

I’m not convinced that Emma seeing Neal through new eyes would add to her stress. If anything, I think it would help matters between SF to know that Baelfire tried to save Wendy and her brothers from PP. I think what might be causing Emma stress in those pics is seeing that PP would do such a horrible thing to a little girl for a century, which is making Emma worry about what horrible agenda PP has for Henry. Remember the promo for 3×8? Wendy is talking to someone and saying that in order for PP to become immortal, Henry must die. So, I think Emma receiving word from Wendy about Henry is what accounts for the looks of agitation on Emma’s face.

I just figured out who Hook reminded me of in 307 with his attitude and behaviour. He’s Gaston from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast!

Keeper of FelixSomeone made a interesting point on Tumblr Neal is there with three people he shared a home with and Wendy will see the life Bae had before he met her and the life he had after her. I’m just happy that Emma is there to witness it all and hopefully without Hook around.
