I just watched ep 2, and holy crap it’s good. I wanna try and figure out the mystery, but I’m sure I’ll be wrong, because every time I think I know a thing, another thing happens. O________O

I saw it bc someone RBlog, and i just laugh so much, really, i dont know what is more stupid , the 1st lineĀ or the 2nd one , or even the whole conversation.
Also found a review from 401, here is the link: http://ramloth.tumblr.com/post/99056657738/ouat-4×01-reaction-post . From some of the notes i saw i extract this part.
Iām so glad Iām not the only one who thought Rumpleās speech at Baeās grave felt off. Robert Carlyle has got monologue game, but this scene just came across as weird. The writers used it to provide a recap for new viewers. It was too much exposition, not enough emotional honesty. Rumple was too put together. I would have believed it more if he had only said half as much because he couldnāt get the words around his tears. His son is dead. He had said in season 1 that if he lost his boy, he would ātruly become dust.ā This monologue just didnāt feel congruous with that original sentiment. He seems to be taking Baeās death a little too well. When Rumple is that smooth, heās usually manipulating someone. I just canāt think of why Bobby would play it that way.
I had a similar reaction to the dance scene – Rumple is normally a bumbling dork around Belle, and all the finger-snapping and costuming up just seemed⦠not them. I didnāt like the literal costume translation here, either. The costumes were well-designed (because Eduardo Castro is the best), but I like Belleās other yellow ballgown so much better, and this is the only time I thought Rumple looked ridiculous. Heās a fierce as fashionista, not a Disney cos-player (and thatās not meant to be a knock against cos-players – Iāve seen better cosplay than Rumpleās blue suit).
Hopefully time will tell and the graveside scene will make more sense in context later. Iām actually looking forward to the inevitable Rumbelle fight. They need a good dose of honest communication. I really need Belle to stand up for herself, and I need the narrative to acknowledge and work through the trauma Rumple has experienced.
Hope everyone is having a great friday.

ParticipantJust had an idea, bc of something that Jo said some pages ago about the grave stone, that is takes months, and since this is all about new viewers, my idea is that, since GA dont care about timeline, and how many time has passed, the stone is there for the GA to think that many months have pass, so is normal that everyone no longer mentions Neal, or feel sad about him, and simply move on, so would be weord that he had died Ā 5 days ago and simply no one is grieving, so no one will question why.

I would go along with that if
1) the episode didn’t pick up in SB the same night as Emma and Hook got back to SB
2) Belle wasn’t in her wedding dress
3) Rumple hadn’t said that they’d been married less than a day
So from Neal’s death – episode 401 is about 3-5 days.
