Sadly this is exactly the reasoning every other character will use when/if? they find out about Hook’s bad deeds. Oh it was his heart, never mind that he did bad things all the time when he did have his heart (killing a man (who is magically not dead anymore as of an episode ago) within the last year). He was controlled, he couldn’t help it, oh but for convience sake he CAN feel love, cause that’s the way we want it, otherwise CS will suffer and we can’t have that.
I don’t think they have the story boldness to ever do that.
PS. That was the shortest curse ever. It lasted what, 5 minutes?

I was very disappointed with Will. Dude I was counting on you to clock that dirty pirate. Hook, of course did not surprise me at all with his juvenile remark about ‘together’ when the son of his gf just told him he didn’t like him. I don’t think the writers really get that it stopped being ‘charming’ a long while ago and that remarks like that only keep making him look like an inconsiderate part of the male anatomy.
Will’s 4 second on screen time was really just “we promoted Michael Soccha to regular but cant’ do anything with him until 4B, but we have contractual obligations so here….4 seconds of Will”

I felt like that would have a connection to Ingrid, that she may have told Emma that she was a beautiful swan one day and Emma kept the name. Or something. But nah? Again with this words, for those who saw, this is another twisting the knife to Neal fans, and why you may ask? Because this were the exact words that Adam said after 315 about Neal and how he didnt had his Happy ending, he said that Neal got his happy ending in dead, by sacrificing himself to save everyone, the fact that they did this and also made Snow Queen tell Emma that she had found her family even if was not with her, almost same words Neal used on 315, clearly says, “He is dead and wont be coming back, because is story is over and by sacrificing himself he did got his Happy ending”.

Re: her surname – I thought that was the name of her first family, the one that had her until she was three?
And I’m guessing Michael Socha had other offers, so it was either hire him at the start of S4 or lose him completely. Better to pay an actor for minimal screentime for a few episodes and have them reserved for later, I suppose.
Cause this story needs some mending & a better happy ending...
