ParticipantSo someone posted a still of this part of the scene, but seeing this in a gif made me realize, just how long Emma is staring at Neal.
SOURCE [/url]I think she is starting to realize that he went through so much more than he ever let on, and that he is so much more heroic and good than she ever thought. He never tried to use his past as an excuse or to justify what he did. He doesn’t try to take credit for things, let alone things he didn’t really do. He apologizes for his mistakes. All the good things she ever saw in him are still there, but she now has reasons to second guess the bad things she imagined he must be like to have left her the way he did. Right now, all she can handle really is making sure they get Henry back, but she is seeing him in a new light, and she cannot stop looking!
I love this GIF so much and you’re so right about Emma. She is relearning her own history while they’re in Neverland and she’s starting to realize that maybe Neal isn’t as bad of a guy as she thought. She loved him when he was a nobody, a petty thief, and had little to no things to offer her. Now she’s finding out that he was abandoned by his father and his mother at ages where he remembers it well, was left to fend for himself in Neverland for a gazillion years, helped the Darling family stay together, won’t let his father make any deals to help people but wants him to help because it’s the right thing to do, is also focused on saving Henry, and hasn’t put any pressure on her to choose him in the Triangle of Doom. He’s an honorable guy even though he’s been through way more heartache than she ever thought. Those are all pretty big things and you have to be blind or not looking for you to NOT see that this is affecting Emma big time. I think these last three episodes before the winter break are going to be amazing and I agree that these things wouldn’t be there if they didn’t intend to stick with the overall story they’ve had in place. I’m not losing hope for SwanFire even if the journey for them is difficult, long, heartbreaking, and sad because I think those things will just make their reunion that much more amazing. <3 😀

KeymasterAbout that GIF. It occurs to me that the scene in question has to do with the three most important men in Emma’s life.
Charming–father–and “the past”. The man she wishes she had a deeper connection to her whole life.
Henry–son–and “the present”. The man/boy she is focused on with such an intensity
Neal–the lover–and “the future” The man she will never stop loving
They stage these things carefully and maybe I’m just cracking out over here, but she’s holding on to the past (Charming) but staring straight into her future, Neal, but in between is the #SaveHenry storyline which is her only present.
(RG should go to bed)

ParticipantAww RG, I like that idea, very poetic. They do stage these things. It would be natural to look at Charming in that scene, but she does not.

ParticipantI love everything you all have been saying the past 3 pages! Great stuff, especially KFC’s long essays! Here is another fantastic SF video I found:

KeymasterPeople say that Hook and Emma are alike and understand each other, but honestly, Neal and Emma’s story is so similar! They *get* each other.

Participanti dont like this jail issue come back, i really though that those questions would be adress regarding the next 3 episodes, but now im starting to wonder if will be dealt in one of the next 5 episodes that have already write( 9-13)
After seeing the pics of hook getting arrested, i really hope that is not the way of adress neal sending emma to jail.
like if she looses her memory, and hook has the potion, but by some how in this new live, she does something wrong and hook takes the blame to safe her, making her drink the potion and realeasing hook from jail.
I really hope that this is not a way of making neal look bad and hook look good, and a way of emma explain to hook what happened with neal.

ParticipantWe just have to wait and see. No context and they could do anything.

ParticipantHello everyone,
I’m just passing through, giving you a hug, because I do not like to specualte on “spoilers” pics and Adam’s sometimes obscure tweets that, in the end, just happened to be “much ado about nothing” =)
@bluebutterfly : I do hope they adress the jail issue actually, because of Adam’s tweets, so maybe we’ll hear no more of the “Neal sent her to jail, he’s evil and @#!”And maybe I’m just naive (which I am a bit too much actually in life), but I totally believe in SwanFire and I’m honnestly not worried.
*Group hug*
