    Whoa!!!! What a happy surprise I woke up to. Can’t believe I just saw pictures of Neal in FTL clothes!!! Wha??? What’s going on here? By the looks of things this is either some weird flashsideways OUAT style or someone’s dream sequence! OMG Can’t wait for this episode. My dream of Princess Emma and Robin-Hood-esque Nealfire is one step closer to becoming true! LOL OK I maybe I spoke a little too soon. But one can dream can’t they??? 😉

    I said this in the other thread and I’m going to say it here too, “What the CRAP is going on with those pictures?!” 😆 It’s like the mishmash of every fairy tale on the show into one ginormous scene but without any signs of Rumple, Regina, Emma, or Henry which is beyond weird. I do love me some Neal in the FT land clothes though! We desperately need more pictures of MRJ on set so if more pics from this filming turn up, I will be a very thankful girl this week! 😀

    this was said in chat by MickStemp but it could be an AU in which Neal ignores August and somehow the curse breaks anyway but terrible things happen as a result. Adam said “terrible things” would have happened if Neal hadn’t done what he did, but I always assumed that meant the Curse would never have broken

    Have I mentioned lately how awesome you all are!?! 🙂

    I think they have had subtle signs of Emma rethinking her thoughts about Neal.  Every time she looks at him in the last few episodes, it looks to me like she is deep in thought.  Maybe rehashing all his previous actions in a new light.  She might enjoy her time with Hook and maybe she likes the attention from him but it’s all on the surface.  I don’t think it’s very deep on Emma’s side.  But with Neal, she knows she has to have a relationship with him because of Henry but also she is seeing his actions in a new light.  I really hope we’ll see more of Emma seeing Neal as the caring, selfless, honorable person he is.

    And now for something completely different. Okay maybe not completely different…  🙂   Those new set pics are so strange.  I think I’m leaning towards the sideways AU when Neal never leaves Emma and “terrible things” happen.  They really do need to address the fact that Neal never sent Emma to jail.  Maybe that’s when we’ll get to see August again (didn’t they mention we might be seeing him again?).

    Another parallel for Neal and Emma;

    1) Emma said when she rescued Regina from the fire, people should do the right thing because it’s the right thing, not for brownie points.

    2) When we get back to Storybrook you are going to save David because its the right thing to do! No deals, no favors, you understand!

    Yipee!!!!

    That really is!  It seems to me that the things that Hook has in common with Emma are her less savory traits (the outsider angst), but Neal has the things that make her admirable or sympathetic (the sense of goodness and caring, despite having a hard life).

    Ranisha, I loved those lines you found!

    Yes, Hook is “through a mirror, darkly” if we wanna quote St. Paul. He is the sexual, devil may care Emma. He is not the Emma we’ve seen her become because of Henry and finding Snowing.
