    From TVLine’s Recap

So as much as I’m fearing a bit (lot?) of flashback retconning to come, I’m certainly curious about the Charmings’ secret.

Look, if Matt Mittovich is fearing for your show and the retcon you are doing–YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG

ut the one he was wronged by THE MOST is without a doubt Rumple

True that is logic, but what i said is that the writers could say they would need a list of people, so could not be done.

Although, i say that i terms on show, i would say the person that most wronged Neal was Emma, not Rumple, she was the one that gave up on him and left him dead when she could have done something to save him.

That act majorly tarnished Emma for me, like, MAJORLY. But Rumple’s still the one who drank the thing to wipe his memory. It was possibly the most OOC thing they’ve made Rumple do, considering how at that point in time, all he cared about was having a life with his son again, yet he effectively sentenced him to death when he was in a position where he could have saved him instead.

Now that we have the magic blood nonsense it really doesn’t make ANY sense that they wouldn’t run around town bringing back people they loved and lost.

    Graham

    Neal

    Cora

All these characters could now easily come back cause blood magic. But the writers won’t cause this stank to high heaven of stupid plot device for this one episode

Who knows what will happen to this one and to Henry sr.

    Graham

like i said bc jamie is not available, bc if he was he would be alive by now.

    Neal

we all know why he has to stay dead, no big secret anymore, the fact they dont even mention him, screams fan service .

My head cannon, MRJ is actually happy Neal got killed so that he is free of this bad writing and is this that makes me being free, knowing he is probably more happy now.

LOLZ NOPE. Though Emma’s proclaiming that, “You’re not the same guy now, so whatever it was won’t change how I feel,” and “Imma give you the benefit of the doubt coz Imma be like my folks and us Charmings all hero-y and see the best in everyone,” feels like foreshadowing for a significant CS fallout. Of course, when it happens, it’ll all be resolved by the end of the ep and will be no biggie.

Emma’s willful blindness made me want to slap her across the face, but it did seem like a setup for a bigger downfall later on. I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw it that way. I cannot believe Emma let that one slide, because his lying to her about the small things ought to raise a red flag that he’s lying to her about the big things. Her “only wanting to see the best in other people” is going to come back to bite her, like her decision to let Ursula and Cruella into town. When Emma finds out her parents are lying to her, it’s probably going to make her question their ethos about seeing only the good in other people, while willfully ignoring the bad. Emma was a bit jaded before, because so many people let her down, and I think she’s going to see the darker aspects of a person’s character, including her own, and hopefully, of Hook. There is a lot she doesn’t know about him still, despite the fact that she opened up to him about her past. Possibly, nothing will come from all of this, in which case the whole relationship continues to be based on a lie.

Oh, and if Rumple knows how to resurrect someone using the blood of the person who wronged them the most, WHY THE BLEEP HASN’T HE GONE TO SPILL A LITTLE BLOOD ON HIS SON’S GRAVE IF THAT’S ALL IT’D TAKE?!

Seriously! Rumple always said “dead is dead” but it turns out a little bit of blood magic is all that was needed to bring back his son. Snow and David didn’t even have to die to bring back Maleficent; they just had to sprinkle a little bit of their blood. Whatever happened to “only a life can pay for a life” like Neal paid for Rumple’s resurrection? I swear, if Rumple’s happy ending doesn’t include resurrecting Neal now…. *heads desk*

What Emma said to Hook was one of the most ludercrious statements on this show. Like you don’t know what Hook did! What if he did something that incredibly vile and repellent?! What if he tortured or mutilated or something else equally abhorrent?! Are you still okay with that?!?!?!
