Emma + Baelfire = Swanfire

Let us recall  that they have said Hook will be fighting for Emma’s heart. Now that could be interpreted many ways given what we know this season has in store for Emma but….What if Hook will actually be loosing Emma’s affection and will be trying to “win” it back? As in, she decides to leave him.

Oh @Watcher, my dear watcher, i say this with a free vision from this show, Adam and eddie toy with words, on part A was that Emma would fight for Hook`s heart, that didnt happened, she only found about the heart thing on last epi i think, and was a rush scene, colin also said on a interview csers would eb happy with 411, but nothing  of what they thought would happened ended happening, he also said we could see hook past with his father and even gave a explanation about hook life that appeared he forgot he was playing hook and not Neal, bc his description of hook past was in fact neal storyline, another no happen, what im saying is that cast and writers play with words, they say what the fans wnat to hear to make them see, but on screen, nothing of what they say has been shown, at least according to what people tell me, so interviews are actually something like what they say in terms of  big character development at least Cs related, bc im sure that about Rb they say the true, since i actually think they dont like the ship at all, will be the opposite of what they will show, like they said that emma would be going in jealous mode after seing hook and ursula meeting and appears that didnt happened, at least not at the level of Tamara and neal, from what people told me she simply was curious. Like the secret that was so evil and bad, was in fact so supid that many people online are still asking whne the secret will be revealed, since what they showed on the epi makes no sense and is not that bad, at least not bad in terms of sending emma to dark. PS: u really think they would break CS? really? that is the only think they see now, well together with OQ , also after Emma words to him, i think she would not even know what happened to ursula and him.

I agree. Emma not bothering to find out the connection between Hook and Ursula is really dumb on her part. At the very least, she needs to know if whatever went down between Hook and Ursula has the potential to cause harm to Henry i.e. Ursula seeks revenge and goes after the most vulnerable person within Hook’s social circle which would be Henry.

That is a really good point. As mothers, both Emma and Regina ought to be questioning about people in general, since their judgment (good or bad) impacts their child. Both Emma and Regina let the QoD into town without so much as a blink of an eye, despite the warning from the Charmings not to trust them. Emma ought to be all the more questioning about the man she’s dating having a dubious history with a known villain like Ursula–someone whom her parents warned her against. Hook isn’t exactly a brilliant father figure, as Emma ought to realize after Hook tried to ship Henry off to NYC without her consent when Zelena was still at large. Now it turns out Hook has a history with another villain. Hook has kept so many secrets about so many threats (e.g. Zelena, Rumple, Cora) that it’s really alarming that Emma turned a blind eye to him lying outwardly to her.

Also it bugged me that Emma got so uppity about Hook lying about Ursula when he’d been lying about his connection to Nealfire from day one. Hook should’ve had a conversation with Emma about Milah in regards to the fact that Milah was the mother of Baelfire who Emma had a child with. It’s not just a talk about an ex, it’s about the connection and impact the relationship with said ex has on CS and Emma’s relationship with Baelfire.

The fact that Emma still doesn’t know about Milha being Baelfire’s mom is the single most annoying pet peeve of mine about the entire Emma-Hook dynamic. Their entire relationship is built on a lie. Back in S3, Emma wondered where Bae had gotten his artistic skills from, and Hook remarked he’d gotten them from his mother. Emma gave a questioning look about how Hook could’ve known that, but I doubt she put two and two together that Hook was in love with Bae’s mom. Then the subject was quickly changed, and the whole topic was swept under the rug. I kept waiting for Milha to be brought up in the S3 finale when Emma and Hook traveled to the past and met Rumple, but the name still wasn’t brought up, which makes me think Emma will forever be in the dark about Hook having loved Henry’s grandmother. Even if Hook were to come clean, pod-Emma probably would just brush it off, but, if Emma were still being written true to form as she was in the first 2.5 seasons, then she would have a big problem with that revelation. Just maybe the writers are saving that real doozy for a rainy day, but I have my doubts. The one thing that makes me wonder if Milha will ever be mentioned again in front of Emma was the fact that Rumple mentioned her name to Hook in S4a. The only way Emma will ever find out the truth is if (1) Rumple brings up Milha again in front of Emma and (2) the writers are waiting to lower the boom on CS, and that is what breaks them up. (I know probably wishful thinking on my part).

Since SwanFire isn’t an option on the show anymore, I’m actually starting to ship Will with Emma. I call it ScarlettSwan. (alternative titles could be Willemma or Wilma but ScarlettSwan sounds better)

First off, ScarlettQueen shared similarities with SwanFire. If the writers are insisting on killing off both Neal and Ana (coincidentally leaving the opposite gender of either pairing) at least pair them up.

Secondly, Emma shares a few similarities with Ana eg blonde hair, red dresses (Emma’s RED jacket could also count), magic, thieving background etc. Will and Emma also share similarities including being hurt by someone they loved and carrying that hurt with them for a long time.

Emma and Will have actually shared scenes unlike ScarlettBeauty which came randomly out of leftfield. (Seriously, Belle is dating the guy that broke into her library?)

Will’s called Hook out on things like “befriending the son to get to the mom” and Hook doesn’t care about Henry beyond how far it gets him with Emma.

Emma’s started calling Hook out on his lying and keeping secrets which she’s not done in previous seasons. Hook’s storyline now is basically Emma’s love interest, having him have to fight for her love seems like a natural progression for his storyline since they can’t have CS all lovey dovey for potentially another season and a half.

I’ve said before that unless the writers intend for Emma to end the series unattached then she’s either going to end up with Hook or someone we’ve already met and that she’s interacted with since it’s too late in the game to be introducing a brand new love interest. Will fits the bill especially as ScarlettBeauty isn’t going to last and CS have had it suspiciously easy without being pushed to the background which is what normally happens on the show when a couple are not having angst.

All magic comes with a price!

We’ll never see the Milah revelation to Emma. She probably already knows and it’s happened “off screen” just like everything else on this show.

I would bet money that the series finale is a CS wedding.  A huge affair in Snowing’s castle with a big white poofy princess wedding gown and glowing faces all around.  Henry will be Hook’s Best Man and Snow will be Emma’s Matron of Honor and Charming walks her down the aisle.  I am 100% confident that this is the ending.

Believe me, nothing is breaking this couple up.  They might separate for an episode because Emma is mad about something but they will get together in the end.  They’ve made too many concessions and sacrifices to their original vision of the show to accommodate Hook.  They’re going to see it through to the end if only to justify their latching on to this character and letting go of others.

Now I’m all for character development…it’s when I can’t even recognize who the character was that I have an issue with it. Someone else once said this, but I can’t help but agree….if Season 1 Emma were to ever meet Season 4 Emma…she’s be kicking her (beep) and taking names later.

Instead of this doe eyed, blond head, Sandra Dee Knock Off that they call Season 4 Emma Swan….THIS WAS OUR EMMA SWAN!!! MAY SHE REST IN PEACE!

While I would much rather Emma be with a great guy like Will, I am still on Team ScarlettQueen. Anastasia had better not be dead. (And yes, I’m aware of what Jane tweeted, but she’s a troll, so I don’t take it as the final word on the matter). I’m still holding out and hoping against hope that she’ll turn up alive and well by S5. I still hope Anastasia is for Will, and that this current ScarlettBeauty is just a temporary “ship” passing in the night.

I’m not as convinced. While I can see the writing on the wall, it isn’t over until it’s over. The writers hit a major reset button in S3a, and there’s nothing preventing them from doing so again (especially if S5 is the final season, as many people have been speculating). I won’t concede defeat until the very bitter end when the final scene of the final episode shows. (And yes, I am prepared to eat my words).
