Oh, those rewrites. I’m actually tearing up a bit. Such a different show it could have been. I can just imagine it in my head, too. Perfectly.
I think fanfiction sometimes ruins the enjoyment of a show or book, but sometimes it improves it a thousand fold. I’m not shocked that talented (notice I said talented…not crappy FSoG) fanfic writers sometimes get book deals. I’m toying with going back to writing, something I haven’t done in a long time. I have “end of series” started but I’ve thought about doing it as “Alternate endings of Once”. So all the alternate endings we’ve discussed plotted out. However, I lack follow through. 😛 But the worse this show gets the more I get the tingles to correct it myself.

He really is the missing piece. W/o the connection, Hook is just some Joe Schmoe whose lines could be said by obscure townsperson #3….
You mean like how in that Sneak Peek when they come into the library to meet Regina, Hook’s standing in the background FOR NO REASON other than they wanted his face on camera even though he has NOTHING TO CONTRIBUTE to the situation. Like, I wanna laugh because it’s so blatant that he’s unnecessary, but I want to cry because THIS is what they sacrificed the integrity of their story for.
