And I didnât even have to look at the author of that article to know it was written by Matt M. He wonât admit it now but that guy LOVED Neal and was definitely rooting for SwanFire back in the day. It doesnât surprise me at all that he listed Neal as the #1 character that should come back and heâs right with what he said about him too:Representing the greatest untapped potential in a character, the con man for so long was separated from first love Emma â first by the Dark Curse, then by circumstance and his seeming fatal plunge through a portal. Combining this article with what RG just posted about from a completely separate article makes me ache because itâs SO clear to me that the two trolls have totally lost their way with how their show started off and where it is now. How can people not see that the heart of the show is gone now? Iâm not even just talking about Nealfire hereâŚ.the WHOLE HEART of the show was the characters and their overall relationships with everyone else. I havenât been watching because Iâd rather wash my hair, pluck my eyebrows, and run sceaming naked off a bridge that give them my viewership again, but it sounds like theyâve given up on that and the characters are all pod!people now. IT P*****S ME OFF SO BADLY THAT THEY DONâT SEE HOW MESSED UP THINGS ARE NOW. Fan pressure and/or network pressure is a pretty dangerous thing to pander to and I think theyâre learning a hard lesson now about honking off a fanbase. How can anyone think this show is still heartwarming, family friendly, and well written when there are SO MANY other great shows out there that actually know their own showâs hisotry and HONOR IT??!

Im also shoked that Adam let matt write an article that mentions neal, bc that is what this fandom needs, after Shatner thing, the past weeks JMo tweets and even MRJ new twiter pic of Neal, an article to fuel the people that still have hope and drag MRJ name to this show when the articles with MRJ name must be about pushing GoS instead. Im starting to feel like this show is Voldemort, can only be killed after all horcruxes are destroyed, i mean one day before Gos starts filming, im really starting to think that this show doesnt want MRJ but also doesnt want other to have him, that is why they didnt push Sols, is like they dont want him to have success, to avoid them look stupid that they written off a great actor.

Someone said in the comments of that article that A&E wanted to bring Hook in during season 1 but couldn’t get the rights. They seem to make it like A&E wanted to bring Hook in just to be with Emma since day 1. Call me cray-cray but I believe the reason they wanted to show Hook in season one was because he was apart of Rumpels backstory >_> I do recall Mila ran off with Hook, leaving Rump to raise Bae alone. So, like…yah.

One thing only, if this was truth they would have done what they did with Whale, bring killian jones to SB and only reveal him as Hook on S2, the thing is, they never wanted Hook, they may have wanted NVL, but that is not the same.

They wanted NL since Day 1, yes. But they also sat down with Bobby and JMo right after they shot the pilot and told them both about Bae. So it doesn’t really matter why they wanted NL (which includes all of the PP mythos from PP himself to Tink to Hook to the Jolly Roger…) because they were always planning for Bae to be there as well
