ParticipantFirst of all, any cause for celebration should always bring this gem back around.

Also, I walked out of the house a few minutes ago to hear the neighbor blasting the radio. “Let Her Go” was on. Ughh I try to avoid that song at all costs. I dont need SF Feels/nealfire sadness to punch me in the face like that.Third,
I can’t remember the last time I laughed this hard while feeling so unsettled.
THAT EXPLAINS IT PERFECTLY!!!

Participant*Doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry that my former fave show with strong female leads has been reduced to a penis joke. *

ParticipantLol, Shatner is the truest hero of them all.
You guys are all talking so much sense. Too bad this show doesn’t do sense. Kinda loved seeing Joanna back. Kinda hated that they turned her into a plot device. The POTC rip off had me rolling my eyes, as did Ursula getting the ship by dipping a tentacle in the water (???). Actually, a lot of things had me rolling my eyes this episode.

KeymasterOh Lily
Why in the NAME OF HECK* did Rumple have to wait for a woman with exactly the right temperament and talent… then slowly train and corrupt her… and then manipulate her into casting a curse to cross over to Earth to get to Baelfire… when he could’ve accomplished the exact same thing by befriending a mermaid? I beg of you, do not spend precious energy considering that question. You could be learning Latin root nouns in those precious, finite seconds instead.

KeymasterLily. I love you
“But Emma will still technically exist even if her heart is dark?” Hook asked, puzzled. “At this point, Snow has had a dark spot on her heart for like two seasons or something, and it hasn’t kept her from walking through a door that only the purest-hearted people could cross or splitting her heart between herself and Charming, so really how serious is this ‘dark heart’ crap anyway?”
“I’m just the messenger,” Ursula sighed heavily. “Look at my plotline as an example and ask yourself: Are you really expecting some Tolstoy to unfold at this point? Are you expecting to be bowled away by some intricate explanation of a larger arc that ties together the last four seasons, the most recent half of which was based on a movie that didn’t come out until this show was halfway through its run? Yeah, manage your expectations. We’re all here for these awesome actors, the insane Disney references, and the shipping fandoms. TTYL.”

Participant*sighs* I just wish Emma knew the truth. That’s all I want for her at this stage–for her to know the entire truth so then she can make an actually informed decision that affects her happiness, as well as Henry’s. She owes it, if not to herself, at least to her kid, to find out who the man she’s dating really is. Despite knowing certain details about Hook’s past, she either willfully ignores it, skips over it, or just plain is ignorant. They say ignorance is bliss, but is it really? Will Emma never learn Hook’s great love was Bae’s mom? (I know the answer is probably not). He mentioned the “woman he loved” again to Ursula, but of course, not by name, nor to Emma. I just want to slap Emma, and give her a good shake and say, “Come on, Honey! The truth shall set you free!” Emma, by the way, STILL doesn’t know exactly what Hook’s sins against Ursula, just that “he’s done right by her” now…*heads desk*
Quickly, Captain Kirk show Emma some sense!

YUP. DISMISSED INSTANTLY.
Also, Hook doing right by someone does not negate the other things he’s done. That’s not how redemption works!

Yep.
Not only do I want Captain Kirk to give Emma a good wake-up call, I want him to say to Hook:
