You know what? I’m not doing this. This isn’t a Regina debate thread. Yes, we go off topic quite frequently here, but the fact is this isn’t a thread for debating Regina’s qualities, villainy, or heroism. It’s simply not because so many people have wildly different perspectives on her, on this show, and what has happened in the years since 101 aired. Neither is this an OQ debate thread, a Zelena debate thread, or anything else. There is a difference between debating morality and the concept of this show vs character defense in a thread where that character isn’t the focus. We’re not doing it. The topic is dropped. Move on.

Look…I’m sorry if I got a little Evil Regal/OutlawQueen/WickedSisters Defense Crazy, and I’m not blind to the messed up parts about it that could have been written/plotted so much better than what we received.

I hold Zelena responsible for premeditating the plot to kill Neal. And so does Regina hold her sister responsible for killing the father of her child; she even said as much.
Zelena holds herself responsible. That’s all I need. She gleefully gloats over killing Neal. I don’t care what tortured or tired metaphor people come up wit about guns and handing them off. Zelena openly admits, over and over, that she killed Neal and was happy to do it and would do it again.
That’s all I need to know.
But, how much do you want to bet that the CSers are going to stop insisting that Neal’s responsible for his own death? Me? I’m bettin’ against it.
(Still believes that WickedSisters should have been happening around the FrozenSisters time period, but oh well….the things Elsa and Anna could have taught Regina and Zelena.)
And speaking of Elsa….the crack ship FrozenFire was SO CLOSE!!!!!
I agree. FrozenSisters would’ve been a nice counterpoint to WickedSisters but the writers only care about the shiny, not in the actual character connections.
FrozenFire was so close! Not that Neal or Elsa would’ve actually been paired up in-show but the fact that they would’ve been alive in the same town would’ve been enough to sail that crackship.
And that’s all that matters right? That REGINA get her family. never mind the fact that three seasons ago, HENRY was enough for her. Her CHILD. the child that healed the hole in her heart. Oh no. Let’s give her her sister and her son and her love and her lovers son!
But GOD FORBID that Henry get his FATHER.
I agree. I think it would be interesting if the show delivered a family happy ending rather than a romantic one, particularly for Emma and Regina. But the show is probably going to end with everyone paired up with everyone else. Henry was Regina’s everything, up to and including 3A. 3B and 4A made the mistake of making Regina be all about Robin. I’ve enjoyed 4B Regina so far because she’s not all been about Robin (at least until last episode).
But I agree, they took away Neal, denying Henry of his father, whilst allowing all the villains to get their happy endings. They didn’t need SF together but they could’ve had them working together as a family unit which would’ve been a nice message to send that even if your parents aren’t together, they’re both still there for you.
First of all, please do not bring up the old Henry was enough for Regina because he was all about EMMA, and even manipulated Regina’s emotions to save EMMA! Regina had to fight like hell, get turned on by the heroes, backtrack on her redemption, get back on track, save the day multiple times, and even more just to gain her son’s attention, let alone his love.
Henry’s treatment of Regina in season 2 was very bratty and even extended to Emma when Neal came on the scene. However, his attitude did get better.
Zelena comes across to many, even myself, as a whiny brat who wants it all, but will have to realize that everything she didn’t get may have been the best thing for her. Is she wicked and done much much wrong? Heck yeah! Is she irredeemable? Heck no!
I disagree. I think Zelena is irredeemable at this point. She has no remorse or regret for what she’s done and she continues to do these terrible things all because Regina was born and kept by Cora.
Sorry about the #FrozenFire talk too, I blame @PriceofMagic for getting me attached to that crackship!

Neal haters have been hating him for reasons unsupported by canon since the getgo. That will never change.

The way Rumple’s been acting, I kinda hope not, because right now he doesn’t exactly deserve a family reunion, even in the afterlife.

If Rumple does die (not sure he will) then yes reuniting with his Bae (Dylan) yes.

Oh why was I making people cry I will show. It was this name generator thing I found on the Facebook. And I put in Neal, Emma, and Rumplestiltskin name and last night they all got the same personality result. Today the generator decided to change it up! 🙂
