Are they really going to just think that we forgot that Killian having that fake hand showed us who he really is??? I mean…that’s kind of a big deal isn’t it!
Yes, they are really going to forget that. It would help if Will wasn’t the single most wasted character ever on this show. Their treatment of Will might be worse than Ruby’s and Belle’s and Neal’s combined.

I think the other problem of what has been done to Emma — and, come to think of it, to most of the lead female characters — is that they have become profoundly defined by their romantic relationships, such that there is no generative conflict outside of the “will they get/stay together” problem.
I agree. Emma doesn’t even seem to talk to Henry, her son, anymore. Her scenes are all about CS. I think this is most prevalent with Regina and Belle, especially Regina, in fact Regina wins the award for it.
Belle has always been a moral counterpoint to Rumple hence why RumBelle had to be split to enable Rumple to do what he’s doing now. However, instead of taking the opportunity of the split to develop Belle outside of RumBelle, the writers have stuck her in a relationship with Will that makes absolutely no sense on either side. Belle is not over Rumple, and unless Ana is dead which I don’t think is the case otherwise that would’ve been said already, it makes no sense for Will to be with Belle.
Regina used to be such a strong sassy independent character but the moment they’ve introduced Robin, everything about her is now all about Robin. For me, OQ is what TV Tropes calls a “romantic plot tumour”. OQ need to get together just so they can stop the will they/ won’t they stuff which is eating up precious screentime when we know they are going to end up together. It’s no coincidence that the times I’ve liked Regina least have involved a situation pertaining to OQ.
There is nothing wrong with a character having a love interest, but not when that love interest is the main focus of that character’s screentime all the time as in Regina’s season 4 story arc is literally about Robin.
I just tried to have a hopeful thought that somehow the Author writes Neal alive, and he’d come and give Emma TLK to undo all the darkness….then I remembered that MRJ is on another show, and that there’s no way Adam and Eddy will turn Saint KILLian back into the villain he once was.
Even if MRJ was happy to return, I wouldn’t hold my breath for that scenario. At this stage of the game SwanFire is dead and past the point of no return. The best that we can hope for is that Neal comes back and the writers choose to continue his storylines with Rumple and Henry but that would involve a storyline being about FAMILY and that’s not going to happen.

Apparently so, which makes me wonder why they even bothered showing that side if they had no plans to do anything with it or were we supposed to think that it was all the hand’s fault?

Agreed. Either they’ve got big plans for Will in season 5 which is why they wanted to sign him before he went elsewhere or they really don’t know what to do with him now they’ve got him and he will suddenly disappear come season 5 and never be mentioned again.
