ParticipantI’ll be over here. Wallowing. Missing a show that I’m still watching.
Things just aren’t what they used to be Once anymore….it’s a shame we have to sit and watch what was once a Sunday Night Favorite become a Sunday Night Tragedy!
I’ve got a head cannon that I know will never come true….that the Sorcerer just turns back the clock so that Once can just start from scratch in Season 1. Though of course Henry would have to be 14 rather than 10….it’d be interesting to see how different Henry’s approach would be then given that he doesn’t see things in black and white, and also given what he knows now….I vote for Henry to go back in time!

ParticipantAs far as I’m concerned, this is how the show ended:
‘Going Home’ – Swanfire Alternative Ending

ParticipantPart of me hopes they filmed the ending when they made the pilot. Hear me out. The beginning of the Pilot showed us Henry on a bus to Boston searching for his birth mom. So a small evil part of me hopes they also filmed at the time another take of that scene of young Henry (had to be filmed originally because Jared has grown so much). Imagine the following:
Henry is asleep with an old familiar book open on his lap. It slips to the floor, the noise awakening him. He’s discombobulated. His neighbor picks up the book and hands it to him saying, “I think this is yours.” And Henry responds with something like, “Thanks. I just had the strangest dream.” And the neighbor says “Maybe you shouldn’t read before falling off to sleep.” Leaving viewers to realize the whole thing was just a thing Henry dreamed of on his way to searching out his birth mom. 😈

And then when Henry does finally find Emma, he also finds Neal as the two of them actually found each other the previous year and have been happily living together in Boston ever since they reconciled. Henry decides he doesn’t want to risk going back to Storybooke after his horrible bad dream and the show ends with them all living in Emma’s awesome Boston apartment together as the screen fades to black. 😉

That would be amazing, actually im even wondering if they didnt actually filmed the end already, didnt they said sometime ago thay knew scene by scene how they wanted the show to end? based on this, i dont know if i told u already, sorry if i did. So here im my country we had a tv series that air during one year, but here tv series in prime time air every day except on sundays specially if they have huge ratings, so they fill the blanks( like nbc does with dateline) so after one year and more than 300 epis, lots of deaths, love tringles, lots of marriages, births, etc, in the last minute the writer does something hilarious, we see the main couple walking towards the sunset, starting a new live in another country and u may think is the end, but is not, the next scene we see the main guy in an asylum, writing a book, looks around and we see all the other characters, and someone is calling his name, have to say that is not the name we saw him before, is in fact the tv show writer name that they call him, so after this he says he is going and writes in the book The end and signs with the writer name. This caused lots of confusing here, people didnt get it, so turns out in the end, the year of show never existed and was all in the mind of some crazy person, that used the patients, families and doctors to write the characters, in fact even the persons we thought were death were in fact still alive and well. Back then media here call it: OUR VERSION OF LOST, was so talked that even trended world wide on twiter, i laugh so much at it, and people were mad bc they lost one year and in the end nothing was real, others praise the writer and network for being bold by going with that ending( they filmed 5 diferent endings,so that neither the crew, cast, paps and media new each end would be chosen).
"I offended you with my opinion? Ha, you should hear the ones I keep to myself".

ParticipantThat type of ending is not unheard of. Just look at the following shows:
St. Elsewhere – The imaginings of an autistic boy’s mind
Newhart – Bob Newhart wakes up in bed with Suzanne Plushette (his old tv wife from The Bob Newhart Show) and his live as a Vermont Innkeeper was all a dream.
Rosanne – At the end we find out Dan really died, and all kinds of things are different than what we thought as she’s writing her memoirs
So this type of ending isn’t unusual, but often unsatisfying to the viewer. Would Adam and Eddy, though, actually end their show in this manner? I think not but it would be an interesting twist just to see the fandom implode. A zillion points if Emma, Neal and Henry end up together in the end. I might even throw in Regina as Henry’s adopted mom. 😉

It’s official. We’re down the rabbit hole. There is no looking back.
I hate yo Jo. (I mean, not really but right now…)
(in other words, Jo is rewatching Pilot/Snow Falls and sending us updates: “not having a happy ending is painful enough, but giving someone unrealistic hope is far worse…”
