    This

    look how he’s changed!!!!!

character development!!!!!!!! yaayyyy!!! he’s such a better man now!!!!

    Note: sarcasm

Since when does Hook have the moral high ground to preach about forgiveness to Emma? He still clearly harbors a desire for revenge on Rumple, after centuries. I get that Rumple tried to kill Hook, but seriously. Give it a rest Hook. Did he learn nothing about taunting the dark one?

I was going to write in another thread, but decided not, so i will write here.

    Is about AU finale promo.

Some of people say that is a AU bc the writer doesnt change the past , so is not real,  i wonder if they saw that they are contradicting themselves  here, if the writer can make Rumple born 300 years later, because is a AU, there not real, the writer for sure could have give Belle and Rumple a son called Baelfire( bringing Dylan), so yeah, that whole explanation Bae could not have existed bc the writer  cant change past and bring back death doesnt fit here because like they say said it is AU , that is exactly why Bae could exist in this , bc is Au, so not really changing the past, or bringing back the dead. He simply is not there, bc they dont want it( which will cost them major problems with the fandom and GA,  that im already seing people mad by bae being erased and there are 2 hours if they see that they dont like the 1st hour they wont go for the second one) and also bc probably Henry would ask for his help( and we cant have that, Henry can bond with his father even if is the young version, he should just bond with hook bc he such a great parental role model). Also, most likely Emma wont be daughter of Snow, they have the same age, there is no curse to stop the time, so not related, again bc is AU, there not real, so there they can do what ever they want, since wont stick in the end.

I’ve gotta give JMo some credit, she actually sold the complicated emotions that Emma STILL HAS for Neal.

She took their dreamcatcher HOME with her, and no one can convince me otherwise.

Hook annoyed me so much last episode. The way he deliberately antagonised Rumple in the diner and gloating, knowing that Rumple couldn’t do anything in retaliation without making his situation worse, then acting all sweetness and light for Emma’s return. It’s two faced and petty, and most of all, it’s actually shades of bully boy behaviour picking on someone you know can’t fight back for what ever reason, and Hook knew Rumple couldn’t do anything because he called Rumple “toothless”. Besides that fact, how stupid was it of Hook to do what he did. Rumple fears what will happen when his heart goes all black because he’d lose any trace of humanity and most likely any trace of mercy. Hook wants to antagonise Rumple, potentially speeding that process up, all so he can feel like a big boy.

What are the writers trying to do with Hook? If they’re trying to show he’s redeemed, why have him pull that crap with Rumple? I get that the two characters don’t like each other but Rumple was literally minding his own business, having breakfast with the author, when Hook came in, intruded to say his piece then literally just left again. If the writers are trying to show that Hook still has that dark side then why isn’t the narrative going in that direction? Instead it seems like the writers want us to think Hook is redeemed yet keep throwing these scenes at us yet do nothing with them.

It annoyed me how Emma looked at Hook as she was making up with Snow as if she was checking with him to make sure she was doing it right. There was no need for her to look at him during that scene.

Don’t even get me started on Regina. It’s as if the writers are telling us they’re redeemed, but showing us that they’re clearly not redeemed yet still want us to think they’re redeemed. It’s contradictory.

All magic comes with a price!

All that scene served to prove is that Hook is still the same person he was when he bullied a crippled Rumple a couple hundred years ago. Yet even though they’re writing him that way, they’re simultaneously writing him as being redeemed and a swell guy. DOES NOT FREAKING COMPUTE AND MAKES ME WANT TO FLIP ALL THE TABLES.

Yup I HATED that moment. “Am I doing this right? Please tell me if I’m doing this right!”

    Lily Sparks’ review is up.

This was another scene that wrote a headline in three-foot letters of “Look what strong female characters we write guys!” Because, you know, when the dude suggested to Regina that she let him be strong so she could be weak, she was like “Weak? Weak??!?! REGINA SMASH!” Maybe this is is just me, but it’s just an across the board pet peeve when shows directly equate female strength with physical violence. Like somehow “strong female characters” means women in leather jackets swigging from flasks and punching people in the face. It’s my belief you don’t have to act like Popeye the Sailor Man to be strong, male or female. Being vulnerable takes strength, being a leader takes strength, standing up for what’s right instead of what’s safe takes strength.

    ^ ALL OF THAT!
