I was so annoyed when I seen the Henry poster. Will it ever be released and if it does they will probably change the message ;/ Last weeks episode would of been the perfect time to release it with him reconciling with Rumple.

But I understand why Henry’s poster was released leading up to 3×9 since it was entitled “Save Henry.” I think Neal’s poster might still be forthcoming. Then again, I’m a glass–half-full kind of person. Only time will tell if ABC will forever snub Nealfire.

I hope you’re right Slurpeez! It is not like it is even a huge cost–they need someone in their marketing department to spend 15 minutes in a graphic software to type up “Believe in ……”.  Maybe his can even just be 3 words. “Believe in Family.” Done, and Nealfire fans can be happy without making any opposing shippers unhappy.   It still works for SF as that’s what Neal sees as his family as he includes Emma.  Yet it could be taken as just about his father, “step-mom” Belle and Henry.   Maybe not so much grandpa.

That’s my problem with the whole poster idea, first: Its disrespectful and rude to MRJ as a person. second: It just wrong towards the Nealfire fans. third: shippers should not dictate what the believe poster says. Believe in second chances fits for Neal because that is his theme, having a second chance with family. Family can literally mean anything and even if doesn’t include a romantic notion Emma claim the stiltskin men as her family after Hook stabbed Rumple.

If you want a really shippy believe poster, I would love believe a lost boy can find his family to counterpart Emma like he already does.

I agree with everything single thing so far. And the fact that Belle’s poster and Henry’s poster match the ones floating around Tumblr awhile back as “official” makes me think that they are delibertly holding off on Neal’s official “believe in second chances” poster for marketing reasons. But it’s really disrespectful to MRJ and the show–I know Hook is huge and CS was huge but oh dear lord…do we remember WHY the curse was cast?! Mmhm, yeah that’s right…BAELFIRE.

Well the PCAs are done with voting. Will be interesting to see if we get Neal’s poster now.

Also, the fact that Adam already thinks it has been released makes me think that ABC is really never going to give us one and just say “oh sure we did! you just missed it!”

The thing that makes me doubt that we’re gonna get the Neal one officially released is that those pics were NL specific, and even though the final 2 eps of this half of the season are still tied to NL, they’re not IN NL, so really, the time has passed to be releasing new NL-related promo pics.

Don’t get me started on how much I hate that whole poster thing because I’ll rant to kingdom come about it all over again. No one will EVER convince me that his poster wasn’t real. I seriously think that when ABC saw the vocal CS fandom and media crap come out of the woodwork during the NL story that they jumped on the bandwagon too and totally reneged on releasing Neal’s poster which screwed over all the Nealfire and MRJ fans. You CANNOT disrespect your fans that way if you want to keep them watching your show. I can’t think of any other show that’s pulled crap like this and there are a lot of shows with shipped couples on them. For example, I’m a big fan of Chicago Fire and their official Twitter and media folks do a great job promoting what’s actually happening on the show and not what they WANT to happen on the show. I wasn’t a fan of one couple that got together in S1 but they promoted them because it was a current story. In S2 there’s now a couple that I adore (and have rooted for since the pilot) and of course they’re promoting them right now because it’s a CURRENT STORY. This really isn’t rocket science. SwanFire may not be a current ‘couple’ per se but Neal having a second chance IS a current story (Rumple, Emma, Henry, the Darlings…there are a few second chances he’s getting right now) so that poster should have been released without question. I’m not about to give up on the show because of a poster or anything but if ABC keeps giving things to other fanbases and ignoring one of the other MAIN CHARACTERS, that’s going to tick off a lot of people and some will stop watching the show. I understand that marketing can be a tricky thing but don’t cater to any groups because you’re going to screw over someone else in the process and THAT IS NOT FAIR.

BTW-Retail work is going to kill me this holiday season. I went into work last night and it looked like a bomb went off during the day and left a crapload of shoes sitting everywhere in it’s wake, LOL 😆

I also agree that it’s disrespectful to MRJ. He’s not stupid…he’s not a big tech guy at all but he had to have noticed when it was never released by ABC. Someone asked him about it earlier in the season and he seemed happy to find out that the one for him was official from Adam. I hope he never saw the tweets from ABC saying that it wasn’t because while it probably didn’t affect his work at all, he’s still a person and it may have hurt his feelings. I’m sure he’s not spending nearly as much time thinking about it as I do but it still bugs me and should never have happened. He deserves better than that and shame on ABC for screwing things up. 🙁

I need something happy. Off to listen to Christmas music and visit Tumblr on my phone.
