Oh, how I WISH I could have the confidence in the writers to believe that they realise what story they’re writing, and what parallels they’re drawing…but alas I think they have no idea.

PPS. Did we all see that photo in the filming thread of the half burned Bug? Because I saw it and it made me sad, so I wanna make sure everyone else sees is and shares in my misery.

i was expecting that long time ago, i mean necklace is gone, the dreamcatcher is now associated with dark magic, lost of memories and Henry suffering, if will this destruction will stick , people will find out soon, tho very surprised that the are destroying SB so in the beggining of the arc, i would thought this would happen in the last episodes of the show only like final arc, although maybe it is, and they will announce that even tho they will have a season 6 will be only of one arc, just to show everyone happy ending, but moving @Phee if you really want to bring total sadness to everyone, point the the irony, the bug will be officially destroyed on the day, today , that passes 3years over 206 airing, i guess is to say happy talahassee day everyone.

The question is are all the writers singing from the same hymn sheet?
I think they are (at least when it comes to major story arcs of the plot and main characters). For example, it’s well known that the writers all come together for “writers’ boot camp” at the end of each season to plan out and formulate a general roadmap for each season. While they may not know they exact details for each episode, they do lay out when certain big plot points will happen according to a time-frame. For example, the writers likely decided sometime at the end of S3 that Emma would be going dark by the end of S4. They had to find a way to do it. They also knew they’d be introducing the concept of the Author in S4 and the concept of the Sorcerer in S5. Next, they probably sketched out the major plot points for S5 at the end of S4. For example, A&E hinted before S5A even started that S5B would “be hell” which correctly hinted at the Underworld coming to SB.

If they are really trying to, they’ll use it as an opportunity to replace the car that has Neal/Emma past with one that has Hook/Emma future.

Hook dies. Emma trades her soul to Hades for him. Why? Because this is what occurred for Megara in the Disney version, when her boyfriend died. She traded her soul for him to live again and he “ran off with some babe and hurt her real bad” as said by Hades. This could be where we are headed…. They travel to the underworld to get him back but must make a swap and Emma decides to take his place.
