I don’t know that I have ever been more glad for three months from this show than I am after tonight.

THIS! A nice break from the madness of this show is truly needed right now.

Everything about this episode is everything I hate about this show now. Just when I thought the level of idiocy of  this show couldn’t get any greater, it does. Remember when dead was dead? Remember when Neal couldn’t come back, according to the apprentice, because he died in the real world. Well Hook died in the real world! Remember when Emma let Neal stay dead, because she couldn’t take away being a hero from him, but she’s happy to take that away from Hook because of love? I cannot even begin to describe my loathing that Emma cannot let Hook die a hero because of Rumple, but she will gladly let Neal (her son’s father) stay dead. *twitch* And Emma doesn’t second guess her choice to endanger her 13-year-old son’s life by taking him to the Underworld with her? Does anyone even in SB have a brain? Why the crap is Regina letting Henry go? And why the heck are Robin, Regina, Snow and David going to the Underworld too? They’re all parents of INFANTS and YOUNG CHILDREN! What they heck do they care if Hook stays dead? And Rumple is EVIL for reasons that make no sense. Oh, and Rumple probably got a child on Belle after her tricked her AGAIN and then concealed from her the truth that he’s the dark one…again! And no one thought to tell Belle even though they knew the truth, so Belle is going to spend another half season being duped and used by Rumple.

Thank goodness for the winter hiatus. I think I’m going to take a loooong break from this show and the forums. I may pop in over at the ranch, but this show is just so not worth it anymore.

When you really think about it….what did Neal die for? For his father to remain a manipulative, lying monster…for the mother of his child/true love to move on with the man that stole away his mother….for his son to never get to know a true father/son relationship…..for his memory to be tarnished and his body to continuously roll over in his grave….What did Neal die for?

Adam and Eddy…are they this crazy or just plain stupid?

Ok, folks. I am too irrationally angry to write anything in any of the other threads let alone review this craptastic excuse for a show, but I need some place to vent, so here goes. I love this community, and especially the conversations I’ve had with folks here on SF. But at this point, I think I’m done with OUAT.

I just can’t with this show. For all the reasons that @Slurpeez mentioned, but also because I feel like we’ve been stuck on a hellish carousel of lazy writing, self-plagiarism, utter disregard for the show’s own established mythology, cheap and utterly pointless plot twists  and a moral compass that makes me increasingly queasy. And then, for me personally, the proverbial last straw — Rumple is the DO again and Rumbelle is back to the familiar cycle of deception/abuse. No matter how OOC this makes the characters, no matter that it literally tosses Rumple’s original Trickster archetype into the garbage…No, just because apparently these writers decided that Rumple isn’t going to be redeemable, because… Well, because I guess Hook needs to be contrasted with someone and it’s a 0 sum game. Just when I was starting to think “oh wait, they might actually do something interesting with Rumple’s character,” they go and do this.

That’s it, I wash my hands of this piece of garbage. I’ll probably watch on occasion if it doesn’t take me out of my way, or read Lily Sparks’ reviews, or lurk/post here as I enjoy reading y’all comments. But enough of this nonsense. Not that one pair of eyeballs will make a difference to A&E, or the network, but there are better ways for me to spend my Sunday evenings.

Keep up the good fight, y’all 🙂
