ParticipantI really hope this is the final season.
Is that bad?
I mean, I can’t STOP watching. Not because I am genuinely interested but because I have way too much time and energy invested in this show (since 2011!!!! Sheesh!) But I am really wanting this to end desperately.
*sigh* I stuck with True Blood for about 3 seasons of “blah” quality before the final season (which was less blah and more “meh, acceptable”) and I was finally able to let that go once it ended. I’m ready to let ONCE go (gosh that pains me so much to say) but I can’t stop without finding out how it all ends T_T
Pretty much this.

ParticipantI may be outlining a new SF fic where in the pilot when she’s chasing Ryan (I think that’s his name) she gets hit by a car and has been in a coma dreaming all of the past seasons up. One of my endings for the show.
I completely forgot about Ryan….imagine if it comes out he’s also a part of this twisted family tree! I can see it now, Season 6A: Snow White’s long lost brother returns. Would we really put anything past OUAT at this point?

You’re not alone @TheWatcher, I think all of us are just like you….watching because we don’t want all the time we put into this show to be wasted. We rode the train this long, might as well ride it out to see what the end will be.

KeymasterI’ve been ready for awhile, Watcher. I’m pretty sure we’re getting renewed but I don’t know if I can make it past season 6. It’s getting harder and harder to watch every single week.

ParticipantOk there is a girl Kiki, she has a tumblr now just to talk about ouat, so keeping with the oua fandom, some anon, send her hate, bc she is a Sf fan. In her post she also mentions RB, but i will post only the Sf part:
As a fan of good storytelling (that doesn’t sell damaging and dangerous messages to its audience), I’m incredibly happy that:
Neal dying in season three and remaining dead meas that he remains one of the very few characters whose writing throughout his time on the show remained consistently i character. Killing Neal was probably the worst writing choice they ever made, but I consider myself, and other Neal and SF fans, lucky, because it meant he was safe from the complete destruction of this show that has touched every story and every character. It also means that the beautiful, tragic, bittersweet story of Swanfire couldn’t be ruined by their progressively more and more damaging, unhealthy, and disgusting ideas of what :healthy love” is. As it stands now, in canon, when Neal died we knew for a fact that Emma loved him, and that she had always loved him, and we knew for a fact that he would do anything for her and for Henry. ‘Looking at what this show is now, I’m exceptionally pleased that my ship remains a beautiful love story about finding someone who understand you, even down into your deepest parts and who will always be home, no matter where you are, of a love so special it created its own, unplanned destiny, and a bittersweet story of love that, even though it had to end, will always live on in what they made together.
What we have canonically of Swanfire is a relationship between two lost kids finding each other, with no evidence of a significant age difference and absolutely no evidence of a significant imbalance of power, and that it remained a complex, but well written relationship between equals who respected each other and their intelligence and abilities, no matter where their relationship was at.
SF remains a beautifully written, tragic love story between equals who understood each other like nobody else could. Emma’s love for him while they were together, while they were apart, after they were reunited, and even after his death is established canon fact.

ParticipantScrewball Ninja came up with a better idea for the finale which makes much more sense than the show did.
wish the “Fury comes for someone to pay the price for saving Robin’s life” plot was held off until the finale– that way the Fury could snatch Henry and drag him to the Underworld as its price in the last five minutes.
Then Snowing, Emma, Rumple, Regina AND Robin would have legitimate reasons to want to go to the Underworld– Emma to save Henry AND Hook, Rumple to sneakily save Baelfire (his secret plan– you heard it here first!), and Snowing and Regina and Robin to save Henry. Robin would have to go instead of staying home with his two small children because he “caused” the Fury to come in the first place.
Screwball also has a theory on why Rumple has become the dark one again.
Spoilers for 5×11! Yeah, Rumple went super dark and no, that’s not a good thing. However, let’s look at what Rumple knew when he decided to hoover up all the darkness:
1.Rumple’s blood can open a portal to the Underworld whenever he wants2.Excalibur “chose” him so he can wield its power
3.Emma’s plan is to concentrate all the darkness in one place
4.If Rumple sucks up all the darkness he’ll be Super-Saien Dark OneSo the question is: Why would Rumple want a ton of magical power now? Why is Rumple cool with going to the Underworld now that he’s the Supersized Dark One when he hated the idea of it when he was mortal? Who is in the Underworld now that he might possibly want to see AND RESCUE?
Ding! Ding! Ding!Rumple manipulated everyone for 300 years and aided a Dark Curse where everyone was miserable for 28 years for the chance to find his son. Of course he’s going to go super dark for the chance to rescue Baelfire from death!
Here’s Rumple’s master plan in full:
1.Hoover up all darkness, become Super Dark One– check2.Open portal to Underworld– check
3.Find Baelfire
4.Conk Robin Hood or something on the head and leave him behind for the Underworld’s “take a soul leave a soul” program
5.Blast everyone with his powers, take Baelfire and go home
6.Explain everything to Belle, bang some more
My bet is Our Heroes will foil this plan but by God, that’s what I would try if I were Rumple. Rumple right now is in villain mode to rescue his son– just like he was in S1 and 2. That’s not character assassination, that’s continuity. At least, that’s my guess!
Chances are such a logical idea won’t come true.

I love it. And… it’s way too logical and well thought-out for this show. But I’m almost willing to see if it might be right. Almost.
