Well they have to work, but for sure they dont need ouat, is just the case or looking for other jobs, even when teh show ends will be teh same thing, so if they are good actors they simply had to look for other things until end of this season, so yeah, that idea that they have to work, doesnt work for me, if they want out and if they are good they will find other things to do, especially bc even if there is a S6 and is the last they will have to look for jobs this year either way.

No. A job is a job. And many of them have come across as not thinking as highly of the show as they once did (cough Ginny cough) and that’s good enough for me.

Nah – they got bills to pay and kiddos to feed, like everyone else. With the exception of Robert Carlyle, who’s more of a character actor, I don’t think most of the crew have the portfolio or the oomph to just breeze into a new role. Looking for a new gig is always stressful, so if there’s a modicum of predictability and security in renewing for another season, I definitely won’t blame them.

But the thing is, if S6 is last, they cant be searching for a job next year, they will have to start looking this year, so searching this year and finding something new this year or next is the same. As for the crew, all of them are from Vancouver and with so many productions going to film in Van, that is beating LA in produtions together with Atlanta is pretty easy for tehm to find other projects, in movies or tv shows, not to mention that disney channel movies are always filmed in Van, so out of job the crew wont have, i would say there are more chances of the crew finding jobs sooner than the cast, like , since according to Csers, Colin was about to quit acting bc he could not find anything in US, i would say that if he has jobs will be with ABC, JMo and RC are into directing now, Josh i see him go back to theatre, Ginny she loves being a home mom, taking care of the kids and giving voice to animated shows or movies, Emilie, i see her in independent movies, staying home with the kid and being more involve in animals charities and on doing guest stars in tv shows, Lana, has many things on her own, to be worried if she doesnt find a job she likes now, i think she doesnt mind waiting until she finds the right job, Jared i see him mayeb going back to shool and after acting school maybe, i see Sean and Bex the ones with more problem to find jobs, although i think Bex will find jobs faster than Sean, that until he find something even if smaller will live from convenctions. But one thing tho, even if they would leave ouat, but still praise Adam and Eddy they will have chances of going to other of their projects.

Well, the reason I asked this is because of what we talked about Jane. Is the money worth being on a show that has problematic messages and portraying problematic characters?

We’re talking about the cast as if they physically go out, door to door, and look for new jobs. They don’t. They have agents who do that for them–find interesting roles in the actors wheelhouse and bag of tricks, send them a script and wait to hear back from their client about if they want to pursue it or not. The agents are constantly looking because they know that at any second their client–the cast member–might decide that they want something new.
