Well I love it! And I love the parallel to Snowing (310 was one giant SF/Snowing parallel).
And if that’s true then this whole thing can be over in with 2 more episodes. It needs to end so that people can begin to move on, either way.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Love that new curse theory! I’ll spoiler tag the rest of this because I don’t know how on or off base I am with a few things and RG, feel free to edit this if you feel like it shouldn’t be tagged so much.
Emma has all ready shown several times that’s she’s very powerful but she doesn’t have a whole lot of control over her power yet. She’s been referenced as the Savior way too many times this season for her not to play some sort of part in breaking this new curse whatever it may be. Love is the strongest magic of all too so maybe you guys are really onto something here. If both of your theories hold and this AU type of mess is all over with in an episode or two, that would come awfully close to the year ‘anniversary’ of Manhattan which seems like way too big of a coincidence to me. I wonder if Adam and Eddy really are thinking along those lines or if we’re totally off base. They’ve used words like poetic, fate, and destiny a little too much while describing SwanFire over the last year and a half so I’m now very curious as to how this is going to work. I REALLY do not want the Triangle of Doom lasting for the entire second half of the season (IMO, Oncers deserve better than this dragging forever) and dangnam it, Emma & Neal need to REALLY TALK about too many things right now for them to just keep throwing action stuff at us. They claimed they wanted to balance things out more this season and while that’s happened in a few instances (Snow & Emma in 3×2, Daddy Charming moments recently), they’ve dropped the ball a few too many other times (CaptainFire, NL backstory for Tink, Hook, and Nealfire) for me to feel confident that they’re doing this more often. Hopefully a few of these things are tackled at least a little bit in 3×11 this week (pictures seem to indicate some progress here) but I’m still cautiously optimistic about that one. Ugh, I hate that after this weekend, we’re going to have so long to wait until we find out what the heck is going on!
I’ll have to look at that Tumblr post when I go to lunch. Stupid Tumblr still blocked on my work computer! 🙁

She never brought up that less than a week ago, Hook was working with the people who kidnapped her son. Never mind all the other things. If Emma is a in crisis mode because of Panry then she just might let it slide and A and E can say “she was dealing with a lot of other things.”
*sigh* I know. Perhaps I’m foolish for thinking they won’t let this slide as well. With the stuff about Hook having worked with GOAT, I can fanwank that she didn’t have the luxury of considering that, because she needed Hook to help save Henry. And I know the next crisis is upon them now, so maybe they’ll brush over it as well. It’ll seriously annoy me if they do though, because we’re talking about a personal, romantic relationship she could be considering getting herself involved in here.
Also starting a prayer circle for Emma-less CaptainFire interaction in 311. Maybe if the Shadow is zooming around in the church, we could even get Hook doing something to protect Neal? Maybe?
A TL kiss breaking a curse would certainly put the triangle to rest. Though I think the process of them finding each other and falling in love under cursed conditions would have to be spread out to cover the whole second half of the season. And I think I’d rather see them deal with all their crap with full knowledge of it, because if they fall in love again while they’re unaware of their issues, then as soon as the curse breaks and they remember, the issues are still gonna be there, and their relationship wouldn’t have really progressed.

Tellin’ it like it is, right from the first sentence. I’m really a bit baffled if people can justify his actions in this ep and spin it into something positive for CS.
I saw another TinkerHook (or should that be HookerBell, thanks to Colin’s tweet LOL) gifset around tumblr somewhere that had the dialogue on it, and after looking at it for a few moments, it hit me. “We both know you want more than a drink. You want me to help take your mind off Emma.” She’s totally speaking from experience, only last time, it was taking his mind off Milah. So I’m not sure if there’s still relationship potential between these two in the future or not. She certainly knows his romantic history, and his vices, and she’s not gonna take his crap, so whatever does or doesn’t happen, I just hope we get to see more of them interacting.
If they’re gonna shut this triangle business down emphatically, they have to make it obvious why she doesn’t choose the guy who she doesn’t choose, and Hook’s actions are so seriously inapropriate, that I’m thinking (hoping) that’s what the writers are up to at the moment. Write him out of the running, then write Emma slowly but surely opening up to Neal again without the threat of Hook lurking over their shoulders, and have that losing out on Emma be Hook’s rock bottom that slowly but surely inspires some actual change and good form in him in the future. So with that in mind, I’m cautiously optimistic that there might be a method to the madness.
This would be the perfect way for it all to happen. I don’t think anyone is interested in having this love triangle play out over a long time because in general no one character ends up coming out of that situation well. Neal and Emma have plenty of storyline and angst to play out and prolong their happy ending. The Hook element of a triangle isn’t really necessary to stir up drama for them.

I love the new curse theories too. If anything along those lines happened, it would be great.
If the TLK broke the whole curse then yes it would probably put everything to rest. So long as it broke the *whole* curse and not an individual one. Think Graham vs Henry in S1.

Interesting and makes sense. I kinda jumped off CaptainFairy (I like that one more) after 310. I mean, good for Tink standing up for herself but I was just really appalled by the whole thing. *sigh* I want backstory now please.

On the one hand, I think the new curse could last for a good part of S3, but on the other, I hope that RG is right in saying any new curse would only last two episodes or so. That way, the new SF kiss would happen in time for the anniversary of “Manhattan.” It would also solve the issue Phee raised about SF falling in love while retaining their memories. Once they realize the emotions are still there, and then their memories are restored, then they might have the courage to face the truth of their past history together and to “do the hard thing” by giving their relationship another go.
