Has anyone seen this? Im a bit perplexed tbh cos I didn’t find that scene romantic at all and im even more puzzled that abc did this.. im a swanfire at heart but I dont get this ?

It is official. It was tweeted by ONCEABC and it was posted on the ONCE FB page.
Like I said above, I’m more or less putting it down as marketing. (Also, ABC why the over photoshop-y-ness of photos all the time? Every single pic you tweet out has been given like 8billion changes: different light! sparkles! blurry! random light shining through corners! colors! Calm down already, ABC)

A few of us shipped them a bit after the first time we saw them meet. There’s a ship thread for them floating around somewhere. I’m not sure how I feel about them any more after this scene, but am reserving judgement until we see some more of them interacting.
I can only guess that, like RG said, they’re trying to hype up triangle-y stuff. They don’t wanna use a spoiler image from 311, and as far as images from 310 go, that scene with Tink and Hook is the only scene that involved someone in the triangle that could be portrayed as anything close to romantic with a still shot. It’s sort of hilarious how out of context they’ve made it.

To me it shows that ABC knows how to get money. There are about a thousand things they could have put up photo wise from 310: Panry and Felix at the end; the Curse scroll; Blue dying; Eriel reunion; DarlingFire reunion; Rumbelle reunion; Snowing vs Medusa ect.
But ABC has to take things to a company like Coca-Cola and say “give us money for reasons!” and nothing screams REASONS better than an angsty love triangle/quadrangle mess between sexy people.

And I think that knowing about their time in Neverland might add a lot of layers to that moment in Granny’s–yes, he was dealing with giving Neal a chance at Emma (something that makes me wonder–what WOULD he have done if Rumple had fought for Milah back in the day? killed a cripple? sent Milah back to her son?), but I suspect there’s much, much more. We’ve only had like three interactions between Hook and Tink, but they’ve all hinted at a long and interesting history.
And the promo pics suggest to me that they’ll have to work together to capture Pan’s shadow…and maybe reignite Tink’s belief in herself in the process. If Hook helps her to do that, because HE believes in her…that could be a powerful bonding between them.
And COULD parallel some SF development, too–if they liked each other but Hook screwed up because he wasn’t “ready” to move past Milah yet…ooh, could also parallel Regina/Robin Hood development in the future, too…

Ahhh, ABC does love their over Photoshopping of things! Remember those crappy promo pics that we all pretty much hated because they were so over done with the Photoshopping? Ugh, just more of the same from them. I was surprised to see this posted on Twitter and FB last night too. I didn’t think it was all that good of a moment for Hook but trust ABC to try to make him look good again. (BTW-Can I just laugh for a minute about how the word Photoshop has become a verb instead of just being an Adobe program? Too funny, LOL)
I still believe that Emma & Neal will get their happily ever after at some point (hopefully it starts later this season) but I’m pretty much resigned to the fact that the second part of S3 is probably going to suck for SwanFire fans. I kind of feel like the media’s the one doing the number on us and not Adam & Eddy because things really are never as we think they are from promos, pics, or the show itself. I’m hoping I’m wrong on this but I don’t have a positive feeling going into the winter break. Not gonna lie….it will be really hard for me to watch if Emma starts dating Hook while still not knowing some important facts about him (Milah’s identity, his abandonment of Neal to NL, the trickery he’s used to get her, etc) and seeing Neal be left alone all over again. He’s had so much heartache in his life and watching Emma be with the man who took his mother away may be the thing that makes me stop watching live and have to watch via recording because it will be too hard for me. Neal’s made his mistakes, he’s even admitted and apologized for them many times, but he really doesn’t deserve to go through that sort of pain. 🙁

Same. *sigh* If they want to show why SF was always going to be endgame, they first have to show why CS isn’t going to be endgame and that means giving it a shot. I suspect our final image of 311 will be Emma, Hook and Henry driving off in the bug. Now if they have their memories or not or if it’s an AU I have no idea. But I think that’s going to be our parting moment
If Emma goes into a relationship not knowing everything I am going to be very frustrated. It’s not even that I’m sure it will make a difference to her. But it’s about fairness. She should know the history of the man she’s dating. All of it. I don’t get it cause JMo once tweeted during a live viewing session when asked if Emma would ever learn about Milah/Bae/Neverland stuff “stay tuned!” (or something like that) which to me implied that she’d learn soon. And that tweet was back in about 305 or 306. It needs to not be swept under the rug like they appear to be doing with CaptainFire history.

PREACH. I think a serious campaign to get ABC to be more fair with how they promote this show needs to happen during the hiatus. Seriously, Neal’s a freaking MAIN CHARACTER of the show and I feel like he gets left out of things all the time. I know this isn’t Adam & Eddy (they’ve said many times that they don’t do the promotions for the show) but ABC needs to get it’s act together and stop shoving an agenda down the fans throats. It’s become almost a joke to see how much they want certain things to happen and don’t seem to actually pay attention to what’s happening on the show. OY. 🙁

Even if it’s not SF shippy…FINE. But can we all remember that the man is the reason for the CURSE?! The thing that started the show?! He’s Rumple’s son and Henry’s father. Gah. “Believe in family” Look! Not shippy! But perfectly acceptable for Neal’s arc over the last 10 episodes.
