Just saw The Jungle Book with the family, and people let me tell you…that is so far the BEST MOVIE of 2016!!! If Walt Disney had rolled over in his grave, he’s definetly back on his back now with a smile on his face! I teared up like a baby, and cried during most of it! The kids loved it, and for a split second, I know Roger got teary eyed with that Bare Necessities Song/Scene….he swears up and down he didn’t shed a tear, but I know I saw his eyes glimmer a little, heck, the song is one of his favorite Disney songs! The CGI was phenomenal and the characters were remarkably similar to their cartoon counterparts, with a little spice added to them! Bill Murray was a fantastic Baloo, who is the most hilarious character! And whoever played Mowgli, I adored that little boy, he did such a great job! Overall, I highly recommend it and give it a 10/10! Give all the Oscars to this movie!

I am seriously wondering if Jungle Book does well…do you guys think they well ever adapt Lion King xD

It seems Disney is bringing all of its classics to live action. Cinderella, Maleficent, and Beauty and the beast is getting an adapation. Oh and there’s a Genie live action movie coming apparently. Its only a matter of time.

Zumpie and her minions go to GOS forums to trash the show and MRJ. This is so annoying, the guy left OUAT two years ago, just leave him alone. I’m affraid he will never be free from this horrible fandom as long as OUAT is still on, as if I needed more reasons to want the show cancelled.

Yeah she gos to the imbd gos page to trash the show. But the thing with zumpie is that she doesn’t want mrj to have success, she says she would only be happy when he announces he will stop acting, bc he sucks, she actually thinks Neal is still alive in mrj and they are both the same person, the thing is on ouat threads on imbd they can’t stand her, so she goes to gos thread to trash the show together with other people that don’t want the show to do good, so they support her posts and ideas. She is probably with her minions rating the show bad, bc the epis are being rated as 8 stars and the show is now with 6.9, so in logic the show should have the same ratings than the episodes, but is not, probably bc she is bringing her minions to rate the show bad, and I bet she made fake accounts to trash the show as well.

I also agree with this, while Ouat is on, MRJ will never be free, another example the pic he posted of jmo, him and colin( bc obvious he could not post a pic of just him and jmo, had to involve Colin as well) which made some people on cs fandom say that mrj supported colifer and others cuted mrj from the pic to put Jmo and Colin together and sent it back to jmo, Colin and then tagged mrj, saying this is way better. This fandom doesn’t deserve other season, while probably GoS that has some nice cast and writers will probably won’t get renew , which will make people continued talking about bring Neal, even tho MRJ finally said Neal won’t be back again.

Why is GoS considered ‘shocking’? I think it’s typical TV story. It reminds me a bit of Law and Order SVU or something. I like the story so far and root for the lawyer and friends to bring down the warden.

On a different note, NBC are airing a show called “better late than never” (starring William Shatner among others) and they asked a bunch of random people to watch it in advance and give their honest opinion of the show. (I got $20 for my opinion :-))

Do networks usually do this? Because if they did… if ABC would have asked random people to rate ouat I bet CS would have faded away years ago….

They do it for pilots. I went to Vegas in 2010 and there was a screening of Hawaii Five-0 pilot and a survey afterwards to see what people thought about it.

Most network TV shows aren’t going to go into the level of detail GoS about the horrors inflicted on the kids at Quitman. Most leave it vague, discuss it in coded language, and almost never ever show anything. Even SVU isn’t going to cross certain lines. While rape (and child rape at that) is a common element of SVU, it is very rarely depicted in the way GoS has, and it is never more than an episode or two (a small handful out of 23), happens to the peripheral child characters (guest stars of the week) and is not a reoccurring flashback for the main characters. That would happen on cable TV but not network.

    Pretty much this.
