ParticipantWhat made me take note about The Savior were (1) Emma’s vision of her own death and conversation with Mr. Hyde and (2) Regina’s conversation with Snow. Did anyone else get major SQ vibes from when Regina’s monologue was overlaid on top of Emma struggling to contain her shaking hands?
I’m thinking specifically of the part when Regina said:
To others, I’m… a hero. [screen flashes to Emma]. They’ve seen my strength, my ability to do the hard things, even when I thought I couldn’t. I want to start a new story. One where the Evil Queen doesn’t get a part. And I choose to believe that this story… will have a better ending than my last.
Emma sees Regina as a hero now. Emma said earlier in the episode that it wasn’t Regina’s evil side that made her strong — the implication being that Emma sees Regina’s inner strength. Regina’s inner strength is being contrasted with Emma’s growing weakness and inability to deal with her own savior status. As Emma falls, Regina will pick up the slack and save Emma.
Mr. Hyde said, “Wherever there’s a Savior, there’s a villain who brings them down. That’s how the Savior’s story always goes.”
The Evil Queen is clearly Emma’s villain, and it’s not just my opinion . Eddy Kitsis said something very similar, which seems to give away a lot.
“We’ve seen in the past that Emma’s Jafar was always the Evil Queen. Now that she’s out there somewhere, I would be worried about that,” Kitsis teases. (source)
Emma is being paralleled to Aladdin, another savior, and the Evil Queen is being paralleled to Jafar. The Evil Queen isn’t just going to target Snow White but also Snow’s family. Regina saw Emma as her biggest threat in season one, the person who could take away Regina’s happiness. Regina’s inner fear since season one wasn’t just that Emma would break the dark curse but that Emma would take away Henry from her. I’m also thinking it’ll be Regina who saves Emma by dying at the hands of her own evil alter ego. However, Regina won’t actually die since there’ll be some loophole like if a person gets “killed” by her evil doppelganger then she won’t die but simply gets reabsorbed or something like that. It’ll be Regina’s way of paying back Emma for saving her from the dark one curse back in the season four finale.
There will be no denying the obvert SQ ultimate sacrifice. It seems like major foreshadowing when Regina said, “And I choose to believe that this story… will have a better ending than my last.” Clearly, Emma and Regina are the stars of the show. They won’t really die. Regina “dying” at the hands of her own evil side might be the loophole for Emma to escape the doomed fate of all saviors that Mr. Hyde spoke of to Emma. The former villain dying to save the savior out of love seems like Emma’s way to escape her otherwise all-but-certain downfall.
"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

KeymasterDid anyone else get major SQ vibes from when Regina’s monologue was overlaid on top of Emma struggling to contain her shaking hands?
I pretty much get nothing but SQ vibes with this show lately and if I didn’t know A and E so well, I’d say its was more than subtext.
Alas…

ParticipantThere is no way they are doing Swan Queen. As much as i think anything is possible because Hook is with Emma, i just don’t think the writers of this show will ever give that slice of the audience what they want. They killed Neal and the show is a failure because of it. They did a horrible job with the LGBT relationship. They think people like Emma and Hook. They just have no clue about what is going on with their audience. They don’t seem to get that they lost half of there original audience with the death of Neal and the rise of Hook. They write what they consider to be safe pretty couples and they are never going to write their two main female characters getting together.

ParticipantRegina’s conversation with Snow. Did anyone else get major SQ vibes from when Regina’s monologue was overlaid on top of Emma struggling to contain her shaking hands?
Yup. I thought it was completely straightforwardly, unapologetically SQ.
Clearly, Emma and Regina are the stars of the show.
This makes a lot of sense to me. And it’s mirroring Emma taking on the darkness for Regina the last time around.

ParticipantSaw this online posted by someone, had to translate bc the original was in french, here is the original link Here
“I stopped the OUAT series but in view of spoilers season 6 I saw on tumblr recently between Rumple and famous Morpheus, I realized something … Morpheus son would be the future of Rumple and Belle if I understand O_o. Or Morpheus is the god of dreams. So I thought back to that scene SF (5X12) from a dream of Emma. Theory: Logically, Morpheus would have helped his half brother Baelfire (Neal) to contact Emma to allow him to warn her. I hope that Neal is back at his brother’s side or somewhere in heaven always keeping an eye on his family as he had promised. If that’s the case, I reconsider perhaps going back to this series.”

ParticipantSaw this online, the girl uses canon show script to talk about SF, i post the link here bc has language, also all her posts are great but the last one is amazing, also she actually shows that in show, they actually say that SF meet btw 24th october ad 31st december 2001, wonder why Keb never realised this, on the 1st time August and neal meet, August clearly say that while she was the the sistem, but not that she left and there is no indications in show that she run from the sistem, means that SF meet after she was 18 years old, meaning that henry should have 9 in the pilot and if he was born in august would be in 2012 and no way he could have 11 in 2014. Another fact to consider when thinking about Neal/Bae and the “bold” decision to kill him off is WHY?
.
We know why. Adam and Eddy told us. Over and over and over again.
.
Adam and Eddy WANTED TO KILL PRINCE CHARMING. ABC smartly told them “no!”.
.
They couldn’t kill David, so the two idiots INVENTED a Prince Charming they owned (Bae) AND KILLED HIM.
.
Don’t see the parallels?
.
Snow was a bandit. Emma was a theif.
.
David was pretending to be a wealthy prince. Neal was pretending to own a car.
.
Snow met David when she tried to rob him in “his” royal carriage. They fell in love. Emma met Neal when she tried to steal “his” car. THEY fell in love.
.
King George told Snow if she truly loved David, she would leave him forever even though it meant she’d be alone and miserable. Snow left. August told Neal if he truly loved Emma he would leave her forever even though it meant he’d be alone and miserable. Neal left.
.
Listen to Emma and Neal’s music in Tallahassee when she is smiling happily and kissing him by choice as he proposes. That music is Snow and Charming’s True Love theme played on an electric keyboard.
.
The pendant? Crossed realms per script via Belle because Emma and Neal were in TRUE LOVE (that’s right, NEAL and Emma sharing TRUE LOVE is cannon. Not fanfic, CANNON. It’s in the script. It happened.)
.
Emma and Neal were ABSOLUTELY endgame until the the two idiots realized “hey! We own Neal! We CAN kill Prince Charming! Yay!!!!!!” And the two idiots happily did.
.
THAT is why they killed Neal.
.
It wasn’t a bold choice. It was a bad idea that had been vetoed years earlier by people much smarter than they were.
.
Ever listen to the two idiots give an interview? They stupidly think “the audience knows where this is going” is a sign of FAILURE instead of SUCCESS, and they SOOOOO wanted to kill Prince Charming for the 10 years they spent planning the 1st season.
.
In the five minutes they spent planning all further seasons, they couldn’t think of anything to do. (Let’s apply logic: Saying they wanted to get the rights to Neverland and if they did they wanted Captain Hook to have a crush on Emma DOES NOT MEAN THAT THERE WAS ANY INTENT FOR HER TO RECIPROCATE THOSE FEELINGS). But the two idiots Wished on the Star power of Colin’s pretty face and made their idiotic disgusting rape culture show-killing dream come true: THEY KILLED THE PRINCE CHARMING ABC DIDN’T OWN: BAELFIRE.
.
EMMA AND BAE WERE ENDGAME FROM DAY ONE.
.
Rumpel wanted to find his son Bae. Snow and David wanted to find their daughter Emma
.
Emma (the child of true love and light magic) was destined to meet and FALL IN TRUE LOVE with Baelfire, AKA Neal Cassidy (the child of a loveless marriage and dark magic).
.
The Scripts, the show’s PREMISE, JMo’s performances with MR-J, CO’D statement that Hook was a sociopath, and MR-J shock at being fired ALL support this.
.
It was perfect, elegant, and beautiful.
.
Too bad the idiots wanted to kill Prince Charming more then they wanted to write a good TV Show. THAT is why they killed Baelfire, aka Neal Cassidy, the Cannon True Love of Emma Swan.September 29, 2016 at 8:21 am #327967hjbau
ParticipantI like the idea that Morpheus somehow connects to Emma’s true dream with Neal, but Belle specifically said that he wasn’t Morpheus, he was just pretending to be. Obviously, it could all be a lie, but i don’t really want to speculate until we know that that isn’t actually Rumpel and Belle’s child. It is like they are again replacing Bae with another character to have these conversations with Rumpel that Bae should have had, so it is too annoying to speculate on until we find out whether or not it is real.

Although, I personally like to have them meet in February, just to give them a year before August ruins things. I also like to make Henry nine in the pilot (the same pilot that claimed that Regina poisoned the apple because Snow was prettier than her, by the way — Early Installment Weirdness!) and add an unmentioned year-long time skip while Graham is still alive, which also accounts for Ashley drinking in “Skin Deep.”

ParticipantEmma has to be underage when she stole the watchers otherwise the whole she was in juvy and her record was supposed to be sealed plot doesn’t make sense. Also, Henry is ten, not nine. I understand that the show is inconsistent on this matter, but Emma is underage, but so what. I don’t think it makes her relationship with Bae wrong in anyway because we have no idea how old he is.
