Saw the episode with a friend, she pointed several retcons, one i didnt even noticed before, tha was Emma, trying to take the parents out of town and tehy couldnt leave, which goes against the fact that some days ago, show time, they could leave to NY and comeback, that was i noticed that yeah, Hnery, violet, Regina , Emma and Mr gold all left SB in buses and cars, but now they couldnt, leave town, i have to say i was like , dont ask questions.

also i sort of shipped for a moment EQ and Rumple, lol.

    Lily’s Review http://www.tvguide.com/news/once-upon-a-time-recap-evil-queen-rumplestiltskin/?ftag=twtrsoshares

Lily Sparks: “The Evil Queen was fully half of Regina until basically a week ago. We’ve seen Regina and Mr. Gold square off many times in Storybrooke, and at no point was there really any flirting. They’ve had a fun, platonic rivalry as two worthy opponents jockeying for power, but considering Rumple had a passionate affair with Regina’s mom before she was born, sexual tension seemed a little squirmy. It wasn’t until last night’s episode that Rumple suddenly ogled The Evil Queen’s décolletage and then awkwardly sniffed her neck, and then suddenly The Evil Queen was acting extremely aggressive and in two scenes they had completely changed a relationship grown over five years. And in a way that made it less fun (and more squirmy) than the unique dynamic it was before.”

ALL of that, especially about Golden Queen. Do the writers not remember the following conversation?

"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

I think there’s a more general conversation here about the link between sexuality and “evil” that she zeroes in on in this review. And then there’s also that whole thing where different characters have, at various points, used sexuality as a weapon to intimidate or get their way. EQ has certainly done that a lot.

But I’m actually willing to give the show the benefit of the doubt, and say that they’re not actually trying to establish a preexisting attraction. The two “flirting” episodes are pretty different. The FTL version of Rumple has this very strong gender-queer vibe. He does everything he can to make people feel uncomfortable and off balance, usually by being inappropriate in some way. I think he’s actually pretty flirty with men too (some of his interactions with Charming are eyebrow raising, as I recall).  And in that scene, Regina’s body language is a bit skeeved out, I thought — which makes me think that this is precisely what FTL Rumple is going for.

The real potential retcon is the present-day scene, where Regina comes on to Rumple. But in retrospect, remove the sexuality, and she did the exact same thing to Zelena. Again, if you weed past the creepy “ooh, what’s our untold story”,  she says practically the same line to Zelena, minus the sexual overtones, and it boils down to this: “what you really want is someone who accepts you for who you are, and that’s me.” For Zelena, where that hits the worst is Regina. For Rumple, it’s Belle. So it actually makes perfect sense with EQ’s overall MO this season.

The NYCC spoilers are simply hilarious and sad at same time, just just by the episode, but also bc of the panel and what JMo said.
JMo said that emma feels sad, and cheeted bc she thinks she will die and wont be able to give hook his HE and she also said that Emma wants to give hook a child so that he gets happy, this is what this show has become, so accoding to jMO, Emma doesnt care if Henry is sad or her parents if she dies, she is sad that hook wont get her and a child and so he wont get his happy ending.please let be this last season.

Oh my goodness did Jennifer really say that? What is wrong with this show? I don’t blame Jennifer for that if that is what is the writing of the show. I can’t imagine Emma wanting to have another baby. They are going to need to have that make sense characterwise. Though nothing on this show makes sense characterwise.

While I could have imagined seasons 1-3a Emma wanting another child with Neal, there is no way I could imagine her wanting one with the pirate, especially after he tried to send her son to hell. I just cannot even take it with this show anymore. I’m officially done with it, even though I’ve been over it for awhile. Emma is just a TV character and JMo is an actress who gets paid to promote the show and her character, but what about standing up for women and being a role model for impressionable girls and young women? I’m disappointed in her and the showrunners. Emma used to be an empowered heroine who stood up for the weak and never took crap from anyone. *shakes head in dismay*

I don’t think they care as long as they get their paycheck. It seems clear to me that everyone involved (maybe except Lana and Bex who still somewhat enjoy their roles) are doing the show and conventions for the money and nothing more and they say what they are told to say.

As far as what she said now, I don’t think it’s any worse than what she said last season, that Emma rather die than live without Hook.

Oh was very pR, when Cs fans screamed, she asked them to scream louder and she was very excited about it and she also said that she thought Hook and Emma should be living together long time now and she point out agian how emma should be a example of strong woman to girls, and that seh grow a lot like character, S1 she was alone no trust in anyone, due to her past, now she has her parents, son and hook with her, bla, bla, bla.

I don’t exactly blame Jennifer because she is in too deep. She probably doesn’t even watch the episodes. The writers talk to her in the right way, so she doesn’t see it. She is at fault for not being aware of what she is putting out there. I do understand her problem though. She wants to work. She wants to act. If she just says horrible things about the show, then that could go away. She could not get work anymore.

I do think she might be more careful with what she does in the future though. People aren’t perfect though. Eddie and Adam i have much less tolerance for because they have a much greater control of the show.
